Using love, praise and affection with positive reinforcement as a tool of training. Trained to the dog’s personality or temperament to their full potential. No loud voices, hitting or physical contact.We believe that most dogs want a job to do and that they want to please you. This is possible with the proper direction that comes through training. Goals

• National Institute of Dog Training
• Universal Studios
• Los Angeles County Personal Protection Licensure


John was also a Licensed Obedience and Sentry Dog Trainer for Los Angeles County. He started John Walton’s School for Dogs in 1995. John’s Classes

Puppy Kindergarten (6-8 weeks)

For the youngsters just brought home. To teach you how to properly handle your pup and to build their confidence and potential. How to properly housebreak your new pup. Basic Obedience (10wks-10yrs)

Teaches your dog the 10 basic commands, heel, sit, stay, down, come, check, no, stand stay, leave it and off. Advanced Off Leash (9mos & up)

For the Ultimate control of your dog. Off leash training gives you what we call a “verbal leash” This gives you the control you need in public areas or at your home. Maintenance Program

This is a program to keep your dog sharp, or “tuned up” if you will, as the months and years go by. This service is individually designed to the owner’s needs.
