🚨 NEW TEAM MEMBER ALERT!🚨 We are SO HAPPY to introduce our new veterinary technician, Natlie!!! She found Scottsdale Ranch by fulfilling a couple relief shifts with us and we loved working with her so much that we wanted her to be a part of the team permanently! She loves working with the fur babies and educating our clients in any way that will help them take the best care of their pets! Make sure to give a warm welcome and say hello next time you’re in!

Today is a bitter sweet day for us as it is Joyce, our reception supervisors last day. We are sad for her to be leaving us but excited for her to enjoy retirement. We will miss you Joyce!

We are excited to announce that Dr. Michael Ferrari has joined our team! Dr. Ferrari is available for appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. Dr. Ferrari is excited to meet you and your pets! Call us at 480.391.3699 to schedule your an appointment.

Dr. Michael Ferrari was born in the South suburbs of Chicago and was raised there til 2000 when his family moved to Arizona. He stayed in the valley through high school and graduated from Pinnacle High School. He then traveled back to the Midwest to the University of Minnesota where he graduated with his undergraduate degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Pre Veterinary Medicine. Post college, he took some time off but stayed in the field by volunteering at animal sanctuaries and wildlife rehab facilities before attending vet school at Ross University School of Veterinary medicine, where he completed his clinical year in London at the Royal Veterinary College.

Since graduation, Dr. Ferrari has been living around parts of Texas and practicing veterinary medicine for the past 4 years. His interest involve general soft tissue surgery, preventative care, and radiology. He thoroughly enjoys meeting all of his clients and their 2 legged owners.

When not at work, Dr. Ferrari enjoys his quiet time playing video games, baking, swimming, and hiking. His sugar intake may be unparalleled.

And the last one for today is Alberto. He is our surgical tech so you often don’t see him. He’s bilingual Spanish and English. He is a dad of two beautiful daughters and three miniature schnauzers (yes his favorite breed). During this time off Alberto likes to spend time with his family and spend time outdoors hiking and motocross

Next meet Tanner he was born and raised in Phoenix and joined our team in April 2021 and he couldn’t be more ecstatic to start his career as a veterinarian assistant. Outside of work Tanner enjoys playing the guitar and video games. He is a dad of a parakeet named “Link”. You are often see him eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. If you have any questions about heartworm prevention Tanner is your guy :)

We would like to take the opportunity to let you meet each of our techs during vet tech appreciation week.
We are starting with Tina who moved here from Chicago. She has worked at Scottsdale Ranch animal Hospital for 4 1/2 years. Along with her tech duties, she is one of our technician trainers who promotes knowledge and expertise to our new employees. She shares her home with baby Thor (a tripod kitty) and an old lady pitbull named Sammi Bear. She absolutely loves her career. Taking care of animals is her passion. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, swimming and watching “ I Love Lucy” and “the Golden girls”. Who doesn’t love a good laugh after a long day at work :)
