We are sadden to let everyone know of the passing of Lord Titan. He has passed this morning surrounded by loved ones. 11 years of being our patriarch and face of Riggs Danes. We hope he know how much he changed everyone's life he met.

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Sicily. As we look back at the time we had her it seems so close and recent but we understand we were blessed to have her for 7 of her 9 amazing years. She was a lovebug that would always make sure she got the attention she wanted and would love you with every pound she had to throw around. She will be greatly missed but we know she is enjoying the time with her friends over the rainbow bridge.

We are sad to inform everyone of the passing of Lord Kronos. We have know the time was coming but he was able to go out his own way. We were able to let him spend his last time outside under the shade of one of our trees and pass peacefully. He was a passionate dog that everyone remembers and we hope he is finally at peace.

Archer is looking for a couch to call his own. He is a neutered almost 3 year old male, and is a pup from Sicily and Poseidon. He came back to us after he had some territorial marking issues due to an older male dog in the house pushing for dominance. He is very energetic and still a puppy at heart. We suggest he be in a home with only female dogs or the only dog, so he doesn't revert to his dominance issues. He also needs to have a fenced-in yard. To start off we at Riggs Danes want to thank everyone for the years of support and love that we have received as we helped family's make their hearts and lives a little fuller with the amazing breed that is the Great Dane. We are sorry to announce though that due to personal reasons we will be retiring from any further breedings of these amazing dogs. Over the past 10 years we have put our Danes above all else and tried to help this breed reach out to people that would have never know the truth about how amazing each one is. Blood, sweat and alot of tears have gone into breeding and it is not something that everyone can do. We know there are plenty of things we could have done differently but we are happy to say we have alot of Riggs Danes Family that have changed our lives for the better. For anyone who is still looking for pups with our bloodline please reach out to Tall Tails Danes out of Laurel DE. Holly and James are amazing people and we know that they have the same goals as we did when we first started breeding. It's been an amazing ride and we could not have done it with out everyone here.

Good afternoon Riggs Danes Family. We are reaching out to find a home for one of our past pups. Due to territorial marking issues with his past brother, this handsome boy has to be rehomed. The family did everything in their power they could, but the best decision for them and for him was to help find him a new home. If interested we will need to have you place an application and have a home and background check complete. There will also be a minimum of a 30 day in home foster to make sure he is good fit. We are suggesting he be the only male just due to his territorial marking around other dominant males. He is neutered. He is great with female dogs,children, cats and farm animals. He has gone threw extensive training and is a very smart boy. He would do best with a large fenced in area to roam and stride. If interested please reach out by message or email.

So after a scary and busy night we have some unfortunate news. After an accident in the backyard yesterday, Nemi had started to evacuated the litter 11 days early. We had taken her to Eastern Shore vet and they were able to save a few pups by c section but due to how early they were, none survived the night. Nemi is recovering and we will be retiring her now due to this as this was her second c section. We would like to thank Eastern Shore vet and their staff as they went above and beyond last night to try to save these pups but sometimes it just doesnt work out as hoped.

We have confirmation for summer puppies. The second and last Nemi and Atlas litter will be due end of June. For this litter we will not be getting a count as she will be a scheduled c section. If you would like more information on this litter please feel free to message us

Well looks like we are not going to be missing the sounds of puppies for long. Our Nemi girl told is it was time again for pups so her and Atlas have tied. This will be their final pairing and one of Atlas final sires. We will get confirmation in about a month.

All the pups have finally gone home.

Scooby went to an amazing family that has one of our original pups.

Dewey is going to be spoiled by his new parents and get to hang out with his half brother alot.

Leia is going to be treated like a princess by her new human brother and sister that was a year and a half in the making.

This might have been our smallest litter but they were still a blast to have and were perfect for ever family they went too.

The trio had their vet visit today. They did great with their shots. Everyone is healthy, and officially ready for their new homes next week.

The trio is 7 weeks old! They are busy bodies always looking for something to get into. They discovered the rabbit is real this week so now they like to sit at his cage and bark at him 😂

At this time Luke is once again looking for his forever home. The family that had reserved him had unforseen circumstances arise, and will not be able to get him now. If you are interested in Luke please message us for more information.

The trio turned 4 weeks old today! They are doing good, and growing quick like puppies do. They're all a few ounces shy of 10lbs. The time for "milk drunk" pictures definitely ended this week because all they wanted to do was explore and play, but we managed to get a few pictures of all of them 💗

A few firsts happened tonight. (1) the trio had mush and seemed to like it, (2) it was their first time out the whelping box or their holding area besides while we clean or hold them, (3) they met the kittens for the 1st time, and (4) the 4 cats you see hanging around have never experienced a litter of puppies before and aren't quite sure what to make of them 😂

The trio is 3 weeks old today! They are little fatties, weighing over 6 lbs already. Tonight they will get mush for the first time so the messiness is about to begin 😂
