Sedona Borzoi has a new Champion!!! Congratulations to Kayo Wakiyama on her first homebred Sedona Borzoi Champion, CH Sedona Field Of Dreams! Sakura is first of the Dream Litter to finish. Sakura finished taking WB/BOW for a 4 Point Major and WB/BOW for a 5 Point major at the Greenville shows in SC. Congratulations to her Mom Dr. Florence Schenker MD. Although her final championship points were at the helm of Zack Helmer this weekend’s handler, we would also like to acknowledge her original handler JoAnne Friese, who trained her and introduced her to the show ring also winning singles and a major with Sakura. Our thanks to judges Mr. Johnny R. Shoemaker and Mrs. Janet M. Schwalbe for these nice wins!

The SEDONA - ***STOLEN LITTER***

BAD NEWS!!! About Sedona Morganites litter!!!! It’s us with frustration, anger and sadness that I post this for the Borzoi community to read and share.

I and beyond upset and devastated that Kay Henderson of Wildwood Borzoi hijacked what was supposed to be my breeding of Morgan that she whelped as a co-breeder since I could not do it.
Katie Averill was just informed by Kay that none of the puppies are Tvars!!!!

Kay Henderson chose when to have the semen shipped and when to inseminate Morgan. I paid half of all expenses including the surgical insemenation. I tried to get Kay to tell me what Morgan's progesterone was when she was going to use the semen but she would not. She then bred her to Hawk as well behind my back without telling me!!!!

Katie graciously offered Tvar's semen because of our long term friendship at no charge in exchange for having her kennel name on two of the puppies.

To do this to both Katie and I is BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION AS BREEDER.

It deceitful, horrible, unprofessional and much more. I feel betrayed and stabbed in the back!!!!!!!! Of all the crappy things that I have dealt with as a breeder over the years...this is the WORST!!!

I will be contacting the AKC and filing a formal complaint against Kay Henderson tomorrow morning.

Although I have written allot here, I am truly beyond words at this point. I am flabbergasted that someone could do this.
I’m not done yet. This is just my first installment of this story.

Exciting News! Kay Henderson’s CH Sedona Morganite At Wildwood has babies! Seven little ones: 2 girls and 5 boys. This is a co-breeding between Wildwood and Sedona using 20 year old frozen semen from Katie Averill’s CH Cazimir’s Tvarisch. Our thanks to my good friend Katie (Khanzade) for allowing us to use this precious semen from her Tvar.
