1. Mommy takes her vitamins

When our female goes into heat, she starts on a vitamin regimen to ensure that she has ample nutrients in her system. Shortly before the puppies are born, the mother will receive another vitamin that will help her produce more milk with more nutrients in it.

2. Mommy and Daddy both undergo a hip check

Prior to mating

, both Mommy and Daddy undergo a hip check at the vet at our cost. X-rays are taken at the Veterinary Hospital to identify the signs of Hip Dysplasia.

3. Puppies are AKC registered

Puppies will have a limited AKC registration. If you wish to have this lifted you will need our approval. We require that you do the following testing for the registration to be lifted: OFA hip check and eye certification.

4. Puppies are house and crate trained

House training starts at about 3 and a half to 4 weeks old which is the same time that we introduce canned puppy food into their diet. Puppies are crate trained as well. After the mom has weened them and they don't need her at night, we will have the puppies sleep in a crate overnight.

5. Puppies are updated with dewormer and shots

Puppies will receive a dose of dewormer at 2 and 4 weeks old and then we take the puppies to our vet when they are 6 weeks old to get their first shots, and last of the deworming, and vet check.

6. Puppies are welcome back

When you purchase a puppy from us we guarantee that if your situation changes or if you find yourself in a position you can no longer keep the dog, contact us and we will happily take the dog back and find it a new home. The other 50% will go towards the bills that we covered.

Did you know that at 4-8 weeks of puppy age, this is when they start the "weaning stage" and is critical for them to develop social skills, more bite inhibition, and to be able to read the vital body language that dogs in their pack use to communicate?
