Sebastopol Ragle Ranch Dog Park All dogs and their companions welcome. Each day 1 hour is for small dogs only (up to approximately 30 lbs.).

Small dog hour is:
Mon–Fri: 11 am - noon
Sat & Sun: 3 pm - 4 pm Dog Park features:55 acre of fenced, off-leash play area for dogs
Handicapped access to the park, including drinking fountain and bench
Shade structure and shade trees
Redwood chip surface to mitigate dust and mud
Disposal bags and pooper-scoopers
Mud-free watering area for dogs
Easy access parking

Most of the folks who managed this page for the dog park have moved on. If anyone is interested in becoming a page manager, let us know. If we have no volunteers, the page will be shut down in a few months.

The wonderful people at the park services will begin park maintenance on September 27th. They will be laying out new wood chips, and fixing the water drain issue.

Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation Donation Page

Shade Structure Update! As many of you know, we have been working on getting a new shade structure to replace the current one. The shade structure has had a saga.

First some of the parts were damaged in shipping. Then Regional Parks had to get permits from the county's permitting department to build the structure. The permits triggered ADA access requirements, which mandated engineering changes to the structure and its surroundings. Regional Parks seemed to have everything lined up now, though, and expects construction to begin by December!

We are halfway towards our goal of $5000 to pay for the structure, so any donations are welcome. Simply indicate "Ragle Ranch Dog Park" in the "dedicated" field. Thank you for all you do to help our dog park thrive.

If we see something that needs doing, we try our best to do it and encourage others to do the same. We hope everyone who enjoys using the dog park volunteers for projects or workdays.

Reminder that the Dog Park will be Closed Saturday April 11 from 9am - 1pm for Chip Day, when we distribute fresh chips and do general clean up. We'll leave our dogs at home as the gates will be open during work time.

Beagles!!!!

Shade Structure update: The shade structure was delivered, but the Regional Parks staff discovered that it’s damaged. They are taking photos and following up with the manufacturer and the delivery company. We will share updates when we know them.

We are still on for the Closure of the Dog Park for the Work Day this Saturday 9am - 1pm, may have more information by then.

Work Day is this Saturday 9am- 1pm. We'll have wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes. Bring gloves, a hat and wear sunscreen.

HUGE Thank you to our awesome volunteers:
Pam found and installed a new cover on the pop up!

Despite the rain several folks showed up anyway and moved a lot of mulch to the center of the park. They also cleaned the poopy scoopers and weeded.

The forecast is for the rain to become steady and rather than have folks work in the rain and mud we will reschedule for November the 8th.

Rain will cancel the work day tomorrow. If it rains during the night and it's soaking wet, even if it's not actively raining, we'll cancel and reschedule. We'll confirm in the morning by 8am.
