I’m really excited for the opportunity to work with Mypridepoodles. I’m expecting phenomenal puppies from this litter not only structurally but temperament wise. Dragon brings a cool, calm and collected mind to Iris’s go do all the things attitude. These puppies should excel at anything you ask of them and have great off switches. As usual, puppies are raised using Puppy Culture and Avidog protocols, along with ENS/ESI in my home with children, other dogs, cats and chickens. They are groomed weekly and come with prepaid AKC registration and AKC Reunite Microchips along with a lifetime of breeder support.

Dragon is 45lbs and 23” tall. He is a 6 year old happy and confident boy who works as a diabetic alert dog for his handler. He is medium/low drive and energy. Dragon has produced puppies who are successful in AKC and UKC events.

Photos from Vespers grand champion/ second birthday photoshoot with her best friend Sounder(not mine). The same golden she took her puppy photoshoot with. She ran around like a nutcase for two solid hours having the time of her life. I love this girl so much, she brings me so much joy every single day.

Finally the comparison has happened! Vesper at about 10 weeks old and now just a few days shy of 2 years old. This is a sneak peak to her grand champion photoshoot. I love this girl so much and got teary eyed when I got these pictures back. Can't believe my baby is all grown up.

We had an amazing weekend at the American Eskimo Dog Association of Oregon show.
Drama took a break from showing to mature a little more and because she was getting burnt out. The show ring is not her favorite place to be. She blew me out of the water this weekend and really held it together and was pretty happy to be there.
She took two best female wins and only needs one more win to be a champion!! So excited to get her there and see all of our work paying off. It's amazing the things dogs can teach you with their different personalities, and Drama has taught me so much. I am so thankful for her making me a better handler.

We had an amazing weekend at the American Eskimo Dog Association of Oregon show. Pending UKC Vesper is now a 🏆GRAND CHAMPION 🏆 after winning the champion class twice. (Though she only needed one more win) I absolutely adore these candid pictures, even though they got her when she was concentrating and dropped her tail 😅.

Vesper will be two March 15th and completing her health testing soon. Be on the look out for future breeding plans as we decided what direction we want to go first. I have a couple different options to think of.

This will most likely be Rogue's final litter, which we are excited about as we can focus on other big fun goals with Rogue.

Jimi is from our friends at Cascadia Standard Poodles and we're excited to work with them!

Jimi has produced offspring with wonderful structure, temperaments, and currently tasks for his owner. Jimi has a great on/off switch, enjoys Barn Hunt and NASDA, and is about 50lbs and 26.5 inches tall

Rogue has produced puppies that are biddable, with a desire to please. She has a few puppies that are successfully being shown in AKC and UKC, training in service work, and performance events. She enjoys Rally, Barn Hunt, Nasda, FastCat, and is the first to try anything new.

I absolutely love the puppies Rogue has produced, and I can't wait to meet this wonderful litter.

Puppies are raised in our home with our family, with Puppy Culture and Avidog protocols, Early Scent Introduction, Early Neurological Stimulation, groomed regularly, temperament tested, and will have a good intro to scent work.

We also raise our puppies on specially designed traction mats made by the Institute of Canine Biology Hip Dysplasia Project, and post daily updates of puppies.

I have been eyeing Jarod for YEARS and I am beyond excited that I am given the opportunity to use him and add his lines into my program. Jarod is from a long line of solid AKC Champions/Grand Champions and stunning parti UKC Champions/Grand Champions.

Jarod is a nice sporty dog with a fabulous off switch. Tons of performance titles behind him after he dabbled in the UKC ring earning his championship. Really sweet and snuggly guy with a loving nature. I am expecting an improvement on coats, tail sets and shelves and strengthening toplines. Along with adding some more drive and workability. While maintaining elegant necks and shoulders, good rear angulation and flashy movement and carriage. Along with maintaining great handler orientation and sweet stable temperaments. As this is a category 10 diversity pairing, I am expecting nice diverse puppies with an average Outlier Index above breed standard 😍

Jarod is 24.75” and 55 pounds, Misty is 44 pounds and 23”. We will be expecting black, blue, apricot, cream in parti, abstract and solid!!

These puppies will be loving raised via Puppy Culture, Avid Dog and ENS/ESI. Their dew claws will be left natural and tails docked to standard.

I am so pleased to announce that over the new years weekend Corvus won 4 champion classes and (pending UKC approval) is a 🏆 GRAND CHAMPION 🏆 at 14 months old. And the last show he won the Grand Champion class.

He is such a sweet and outgoing boy and I am so excited to shave him down and work on other titles this year and maybe get him back into the show ring next year.

It will be so much fun to see what sports he likes to do this year and not fuss over coats so much.

POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $2,500 USD
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You breeders are so over priced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(average minimal cost $3000 and up). Also a male(average minimal cost $3000 and up) or semen (average $1000 and up). You will need to show them to their championship to show they meet the breed standard (Minimal $2000 each with travel & fees). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, averages about $750 per dog. OFA or Penn hip $400 to $800 per dog. Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 2 years. (So minimal $150 per month)
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...

BREEDER: For $500 you can raise a litter for me and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you also have to pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 8 weeks to help with delivery and care. Possibly tube or bottle feed puppies every 2-3 hours if the mom is low on milk the first couple weeks.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Eight weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do xrays($200-$500), possibly progesterone testing($75-$250) & a C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed. Pups vets exams and two sets of vaccines ($250 and up depending on how many puppies are in the litter)
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $1000 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.
THIS IS THE REALITY
When you choose a professional, you don't only pay for the puppy but also:
Tools, knowledge, experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc...

Some shots of Corvus at the last show. He won the champion class once but sadly there wasn't enough dogs entered to get a grand leg. He was a very good boy though.

Here is Corvus' win picture from the Pitbull Nationals a couple weeks ago. It was a HUGE champion class with 6 other very competitive dogs. We were extremely happy to come home with one champion class win! Can't wait for the next show!

Kacy Hottell made Corvus his very own add picture. This boy has the potential to go far not only in the conformation ring but the performance ring as well. He is so eager to please and happy to do anything. I can't wait to hopefully make his debut in performance at Western Classic 2023.

Corvus finally had his first photoshoot with our wonderful photographer Shelby! Since we didn't get him as a puppy he missed out on a puppy photoshoot like the girls. He will be a year old in a month so I'm sure he will need an updated one in a year or two when he matures more.
He was put into the MCC by Tawnya at Oakridge Standard Poodles a couple weeks ago for the last show, and I have been slow at posting his win pic.
We love this boy so much. He's so fun, happy go lucky, Velcro and wanting to please all the time.

So proud of our friends at Mistel. They have done great things with their program with just one generation. This is the type of thing we strive for in our future.

We had a fantastic new ad made for our special girl, Snoqualmie. She is our very first UKC Best in Show winner and first bred by Grand Champion 💛

I’m still so proud of her accomplishments and cannot wait to achieve more with this absolutely gorgeous dog!
