UPDATE: Gates have been returned. Thank you!

If anyone knows someone by the name of Leo who lives in Joyce and has two wooden gates(picture below) that were taken Saturday 24th from Swim Doggie Swim please have him contact me. He was given wrong information by someone other than the landlord about taking these. I need them back in the same good condition with the hardware that was on them. Giving a chance to bring them back before a report is filed. Thank you.

The last picture of myself in the pool with one of my longest fur clients. Molly has been coming to Swim Doggie Swim every week for 4 years.

Molly started as a WAG dog who started coming to loose weight and to try and avoid a knee surgery. Starting at 123 pounds she has held her weight at around 88 pounds for the past few years and has been able to avoid that knee surgery.

When Molly found her furever home, her adopter kept Molly's swimming up because she saw how much it helped Molly.

At 12 years old, Molly is still her happy sweet self, moving great and feeling good!

Molly is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. She's an old soul and has that energy about her that makes you feel at peace.

Thank you to Dr. Melissa Smith and WAG for saving her and giving her a long, loving happy life she deserves. She is one very special girl.

Shout outs and thank yous!

As December is here and I am counting how many more days I have left in the pool, there are several people and businesses I would like to say thank you to and give a shout out to. These people and businesses help kept the facility and pool at Swim Doggie Swim open and going these past 5 years. I am truly grateful for all of them!

First and foremost, Keith Cortner! If not for, Keith the facility would literally be dark and the pool not running. Keith is my Mr. Fix at the facility and has saved my be-hind many times. We did learn to always check the big red EMERGENCY button before going forward when something in the pool is not working, lol. Good times! Thank you, Keith!

Huge thank you and shout out to Jamie Parrish Plumbing, Inc. They have the best customer service on the Peninsula! They also know that being a small business the pool couldn’t be down for too long. Their work is not only amazing but they did it all in a very timely manner so I could get the pool back up and running again to swim dogs. I’m so grateful you are right here in Sequim, and just down the street! Thank you to Jamie and all his employees at Jamie Parrish’s Plumbing for all your hard work.

Another huge thank you and shout out to is Roche Electric and Consulting. When no one else wanted to come out to help fix a small electrical problem (because it wasn’t thousands of dollars) Orlando of Roche Electric came out right away and fixed the electrical problem. Again, as a small business having someone come out in a timely manner to fix something so I can keep the business going is priceless! Also, great customer service! Thank you, Orlando, for all your help!

And the fourth huge thank you and shout to is David of David’s Appliances. If not for David, your dogs would go home wet! Or you would have to bring your own towels. David was always there to fix anything that went wrong with the washer and dryer. Again, it was always in a fast timely manner so I wouldn’t have to go to the laundry mat every night after a long day at work. Thank you, David, for understanding a small business needs and always being there!

Don't forget this Monday November 7th is Doggy/Cat Chiropractor Day! Just a friendly reminder, please don't let your dog go up to another dog or person in the parking lot. There are a lot of reactive dogs that come to this and I want them all to feel safe and comfortable coming here. It's really important to me that they all have a good experience coming and going.
Thank you.

The sweet aging fur babies. One of the hardest parts of the job is watching these amazing dogs age.

Hunter has been coming to Swim Doggie Swim for a few years now. He still gets excited to be here, gets in the water on his own (with a bit of guidance), fetches the ball (a bit slower) and with some help.

Our towel dries are a cherished moment. Instead of running around excited and full of energy, they are now gentle, calm, sweet and loving.

Any dog loving person knows how much these moments mean and how hard it tugs at your heart. Love you Hunter❤️

Meet Ranger! Ranger is the perfect dog to talk about when it comes to swimming. If your heart and soul is truly in this for the dogs, then you know there is more to this picture/session than just swimming a dog.

Rangers first 8 years of his life was not the best. However, with amazing people who rescued him, took their time and had patience with him, Ranger is living a great life.

When you are working with a dog, especially abused, there are a lot of boundaries you have to respect. There are also barriers you need to work through with the dog in order to make him feel safe in an environment that is completely different and scary for a lot of dogs. You have to gain their trust by making them feel safe and then helping build up their confidence. That's a lot to do in just one session.

These pictures are from Rangers second session and it was a great way to end my day. He gave me his trust and I could feel him relax in my arms in the water. It was a great session and always the best feeling❤️.

At the end of the session when he was walking around his eyes looked relaxed and happy and I swear I saw a little smile.😁

I just want to squeeze this face! Meet Tripp! This was his first session and he was all smiles once he figured out all this felt so good on his body. Tripps right hind leg was amputated as a puppy. His dad has done an amazing job at keeping Tripp moving and looking good! ❤️❤️
