September has been a little slower for house guests. So we went and picked up Murphy for a walk tonight. We love doing drop ins and walks if anyone ever needs it, keep us in mind! ❤️

Hank went on plenty of walks and went to an outdoor flea market with us. He also watched Iowa State beat Iowa and did an outdoor movie night with us. (He slept through the whole movie…) It went to fast!

Hank is fitting in just fine…. It has been interesting when we are yelling for our Hank and this Hank comes. 😂

We did a meet and greet with Hank last night. So we will have two Hanks in the house. We cannot wait!

Taz and Bailey came and went. My nephews had a blast with them tonight. Very sweet and fun dogs.

NIC’s Dog Boarding is a very low key family ran operation located in Sheffield, Iowa.

My name is Nicole, and I often go by Nic. However, when we chose the name we took the first letter of each of our names and combined them to form NIC. A fitting acronym for our family endeavor.

Ireland and Corey make all the difference when it comes to running this. It is teaching Ireland how to be responsible and it is fun that we are doing it together.

The great part about boarding with us is we can make it less stressful for you and your dog. We also enjoy taking the dogs on walks around our quiet neighborhood at least once per day. We work to make the dogs feel as comfortable as possible when they board with us. We also send picture/video updates (client requested). When you are on vacation we want your dog to feel like they are on vacation as well.

Your dog(s) return home not smelling like the kennel, are fed and watered on YOUR schedule, and loved just like you love them.

We are enjoying a weekend off to take a family trip but come August 5th we will be back at it with two of our favorite bullies.

July was one for the books.

Besides a handful of days, we were fully booked for the month of July! We are so grateful for our clients.

Murphy (bottom left) was not an official client this month but his help coming over and playing with all the dogs was very appreciative. I think he had as much fun as we did.

Eleanor top left was the largest dog we have dog sat for and she made us fall in love with her.

Frank (bulldog) was our longest stay so far and he was to photogenic not to post more than one photo of him. He also became our cover photo for our page.

It was an unforgettable month and we are extremely blessed.

We have Sweet Sassy until tomorrow evening.

Sassy has been able to play with multiple dogs this weekend and watch me decide to paint half of my basement this afternoon. Her name suits her as she will tell you (barks) when she needs something. Ireland loves all the extra cuddles she gets when Sassy comes to stay. ❤️

Today is Eleanor’s last day with us. We got to enjoy a nice walk this morning before her pick up. She is a gentle giant and we loved having her.

We are double booked for a couple days here. We have Frank, bulldog, and Bama, Goldendoodle. We have been having toooo much fun taking pictures of them. ❤️
