The goal for my breeding program is to produce canines that are not only great companions but are also capable of performing, especially in the areas they are bred for. Our breeding dogs are trained, shown, and titled in a variety of activities that allow us to properly assess their strengths and weaknesses. We are proudly located in the Osco, Illinois

It’s been brought to my attention I’m getting called names of all sorts out in the dog world for doing what’s best for MY dogs! I truly try to give everyone multiple chances. I’ve been told I’m far too nice and need to put pants on! 🤣 The past several months have been hard for myself and my family, but I will ALWAYS be here for my dogs no matter what. Their wellbeing will always come before your “feelings.” Even if that means I have extra dogs here until they find their perfect home.
I have had some unfavorable experiences with just ONE person.
Scenario 1 - Back in 2022 I let a new trainer take Lana out on a co-own situation - at the time she was just shy of 8 months old, and very well started on all things. Said trainer came to pick up Lana and had her from Jan 7th - Jan 22nd. I sent a bag of food with her and all of her records. During that timeframe we communicated several times, with positive feedback about how Lana was doing.
Jan 20th: She's doing great! Went to the store with me today and did well!
Jan 21st: How was Lana's food drive and obedience/luring? This girl does not want to work for me at all. I've tried special treats, hot dogs, her food, withholding food. She could care less. 😔
My response: 😭 It was really good. She would do super good for her food and chicken. She did basic obedience with a friend of mine and they don’t use treats and I used the box with her several times with her food and chicken and she did awesome!!
I found out a few months ago she STARVED MY DOG FOR 4 DAYS!!!! All because she wouldn’t eat from her. That would explain the sore lips in a photo she sent me.
I had someone available to pick Lana up ASAP and bring her back home. I failed my girl. The transporter had Lana luring on the side of the highway with absolutely NO issues? 🤷♀️
Time passed…
Scenario 2 [keep in mind this is all w the same person] - We made a deal where she would co-own Vita with me. After she picked Vita up it was agreed upon that she would have 4 months to pay $3k for her portion of the co-own. Within those 4 months she only paid a total of $900. I provided the food and additional deworming medication for Vita after she mentioned she didn’t have the funds. Vita came into heat and she was unable to bring her back to me knowing full well it was HER responsibility to bring the dog to me for breeding as per our co-ownership agreement!
I actually had to PAY someone to get my dog back in order to breed her and fulfill my deposit list. At that time she asked if I could just keep Vita from the time of breeding until the pups were weaned. Which again, didn’t fulfill our original agreement. Ultimately she ended up asking me to keep Vita in my possession - At this point I just felt in my heart this wasn’t going to work out. I told her to forget the co-own deal - it’s not worth it if the dog continues to live here.
During this time she was also interested in a puppy from my Q litter. I told her we could transfer over the $900 she previously paid for Vita towards the puppy to which she agreed.
Lastly - Scenario 3…
She got Zuma March 3rd. At first there was good communication, and I received videos of Zuma doing obedience. I sent her a contract that she never signed and sent reminders that were ignored. On May 30th she messaged to let me know that she wasn’t working out and that Zuma didn’t have the drive she wanted. Keep in mind this is a 5 month old puppy! She states she was tested by 2 well known decoys but won’t give me their information. 🤷♀️
Zuma was tested by a well known trainer/decoy with over 40 years of experience who advised that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dog! She shows everything I’d want to see in a pup her age. She asked to return Zuma and get a replacement male from my upcoming litter.
After all of this, this person requests that I pay her for training a dog that “doesn't work.” A refund is unusual in the dog world, let alone paying for training for a dog that “can’t do” said work.
When I got Zuma back, she was thin. I asked for updated vaccine records and was told her vet was unable to get her in. So for the 3 months Zuma was in her care, her vet was so far booked out she couldn’t get her in for a simple wellness exam to update her vaccines.
This person is now attempting to breed her own dog under her new kennel name, which I had initially planned to help promote. Obviously, I cannot back this person any longer.
On June 15th she reached out stating she no longer wanted a dog from my program. Now she is slandering my name/business because she thinks she deserves a refund?!
I think we can both learn from this lesson…I could go on and on with the lies she told me, but I’ll stop here.

Our T litter miracle 🐶
This angel was the 4th girl born around 615am, a couple more sisters came after her. A little after 9am I went inside to check on Robert as I did after every pup was suctioned, cleaned up, and nursing. I was gone just a few minutes. Just enough time for Faith to get up move around and lay back down. I came back in to check on mama and the pups. I immediately noticed there was a puppy missing. I got Faith to stand up and my heart instantly dropped! 😭 Every breeders nightmare. I picked the lifeless puppy up, and immediately started CPR. I stopped and couldn’t tell if I was feeling my own heartbeat or the puppies. I tried for several minutes, I laid the puppy down, kissed Faith and told her I was sorry at that moment the puppy gasped! I picked her up and started giving her more breaths, I did this for several more minutes. I then noticed subcutaneous emphysema (air under the skin) on the left side of her rib cage. I grabbed my stethoscope and no crackling in the lungs, and her heart was strong. I kept rubbing her to get her to continue crying, she continued to gasp every few minutes for a good 20-30 minutes. I thought well she will either pull through, or unfortunately she won’t make it. At this point I was surprised I got her breathing and nursing again!! The rest of the day her sq emphysema got worse but she continued to thrive. Last week I took the S litter to the vet for their first wellness visit and I took her along. Her sq emphysema was still all over her body. Dr. Fixen listened and didn’t hear any muffles and her heart was still strong. We did X-rays to see if we could tell if there were any broken ribs, and to see her lung fields. Dr Fixen said she didn’t see anything obvious. 💕 I will redo X-rays when she older to double check everything still looks good. This girl still continues to gain weight and is active just like her siblings. Her emphysema is completely gone! It is a miracle in my eyes that she’s still alive and thriving!! 🥹🐾
