ABOUT US!
We are a small family business located in Simi Valley, CA. The jumps are being built completely in-house, with no work being outsourced. I Diana Castaneda & my husband Adam Castaneda do it all when it comes to the business with help from our daughter Julianna Mercer. Adam works full time as a Firefighter Engineer and I work full time in High Risk Merchant Services Sales, while Julianna currently works for Starbucks. All our free time is dedicated to growing CJC. Adam has always enjoyed building and being creative with a background in construction. Julianna and I both have an art background and are excited to be able to showcase our skills.
I grew up riding horses at a very young age through adult hood. I started in Western, then moved to Hunters, Dressage, Eventing and and Jumpers. I no longer ride but I have passed the reins onto my daughter Julianna. Julianna started riding at a very young age and is currently showing her new 5yr old OTTB Hunters and Jumpers and schooling cross country.
We as a family wanted to start a business to get involved in the equestrian community as much as possible. As well as to be able to support Julianna in her show career. Hopefully God willing this will be our full-time job one day.
We will try to roll out as much product as we can, please be patient as we get things going (Still so many tools to buy). Custom orders will be available in the future. We look forward to working with all of you and seeing your horses jump our jumps!
A huge thank you to world famous Richard Newton (now retired) of Newcourse Jumps for the guidance and support on our new venture. Richard was best known for his Grand Prix, U.S. Open, and Olympics jumps. He also did sponsor jumps for Rolex, Land Rover, Mercedes Benz and many more.
