This sweet dog wandered into my yard this morning in Simsbury. Clearly has been outside for months, but likely was someone’s pet based on temperament. I can’t get a good look through the matted hair to tell the s*x. Anyone recognize them?

Posting for foster parents who have Reggie 🐶🐶

Meet Reggie! My daughter has been fostering this 65 lb, German Shepherd mix, one year old pup, through Dog Star Rescue. He is the most wonderful boy! He is house trained, likes his crate, is very respectful to other dogs (even our girls who aren't always so welcoming). He was a little bit afraid of my husband and son when he first came to us but quickly came to love them too. He is a wonderful snuggler and a very happy boy. He likes to take walks and is doing a good job on the leash. I can't say enough about this pup. We would keep him but we already have 2 dogs, so when my daughter goes back to college he will have to go back to the rescue. We have fostered several pups, but this guy is really special. Please keep your kitties safe! I have a cat who loves to be outside and therefore I can’t force him in but he’s never too far with that said I say I love you and thank you for being part of my life when he’s out.
That’s not an excuse for letting him go out.
