We LOVE seeing sweet videos and pictures of your fur babies! This lovely video made our entire team's day! We always enjoy when Ms. Sadie comes to visit! Did you know not all visits with us must be for an appointment? You can bring your pet in for what we call a HAPPY VISIT. Happy visits allow your pet to receive a complimentary weight check for their monthly preventatives and visit with our client care team and they can receive a treat! These visits help your pet associate positivity when coming into the office, and helps them understand that not all visits result in receiving treatments. Your pet's happiness is our joy! 😁❤

This week at Johnston Animal Hospital Dr. Ward and Dr. Kathy had a wonderful time meeting with Officer Sittig and Officer Berna from the Smithfield, NC Police Department to train on first aid safety for their K9s. We are thankful we had the opportunity to do this and help educate them for any K9 first aid needs in the field.

  • Dr. Ward is Fear Free certified, that means he has gone through additional education and testing to reduce the fear, anxiety and stress of our patients before, during and after they visit our office.

  • Your pet will be treated in a calm, loving manner with tasty treats they are sure to love. If he doesn’t care for food treats, we have brushes and cuddles ready to try :)
