Free Electronics Collection*

Do you have some old electronic devices (ones no longer in use that are collecting dust and taking up space? Please don’t throw them in the trash. Electronics have numerous negative impacts on the environment and need to be disposed of properly, which does involve recycling. JVS Environmental and Somerset County Recycling is holding a free electronics collection event on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10AM –2PM @ 1606 North Center Ave. Somerset, PA 15501 in the Giant Eagle parking lot. By participating in this event you will help keep toxins out of the landfill while decluttering your home. *There is a $25.00 fee for Freon-containing devices and a $2.00 fee for fluorescent light bulbs. We are sorry, but smoke detectors, vacuums, e-cigarettes, v**e pens, and personal grooming electronics cannot be accepted at this event.

To all dog park users please try to avoid small dog fenced area due to reported bunny nest in flower bed area 🥹🐰would like to give these babies chance of survival from dog attack. Please everyone share!

Disappointing News from Jager & Friends Dog Park!

Someone broke into our money donation box at front of park entrance. We will be replaying our security cameras to find our stealer.

So we are asking until new box replaced to mail donations.
