⭐️Survivor Spotlight⭐️

Today we celebrate Louie ❤️ Louie has won the battle with FIP! Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is a very serious viral disease caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus. Until recently FIP had been considered a fatal diagnosis, but with recent medical advances there are now treatment options! Thanks to his amazing owners and his hard working veterinary team, this little guy has pulled through stronger than ever. We're so proud of you Louie 👏👏

As Halloween approaches, it’s important to keep our furry friends safe. Here are some essential tips to ensure a fun and safe celebration:

1) Keep Candy Away: Chocolate and other treats can be toxic to pets. Make sure all candy is stored out of reach.

2) Costume Caution: If you dress your pet up, ensure the costume is comfortable and doesn’t restrict movement or vision.

3) Safe Spaces: Create a quiet space for your pets to retreat to if they get anxious from noise or unfamiliar visitors.

4) Leash Up: If you’re taking your pet out, keep them on a leash to avoid getting startled by costumes or decorations.

Saying Goodbye is never easy, the staff wants to carry the burden with our clients. Most of the staff become attached to the patients.
One of my favorite parts of this clinic is the homey feeling. Dr Maloney is service oriented and finds a way to make the best of things. Today we all said goodbye to a special pet and had the sun and weather in our own backyard to keep the process as peaceful as possible.
