Breeding dogs is more than a full time job, it is a lifestyle. To assure that I am protecting my bloodline, breeding rights DO NOT come with your goldendoodle. For this reason, breeding rights to our pups will only be SOLD to customers that have been interviewed by myself. Otherwise, our goldendoodles are sold as pets only. To anyone considering purchasing a puppy, please make sure you are not buying from an inexperienced breeder. Your breeder should be able to educate you about all traits of a goldendoodle. They should offer to be there for any questions/concerns that are related to the health of your new puppy long after you are home. There seems to be many people breeding doodles these days. I have seen too many goldendoodles end up in shelters or owners wanting to re home their dog/pup. Please take the purchase of your pup serious and know what you are getting. Parents should be on site, healthy, AKC registered (if purchasing an F1, which is from two purebreds) Anyone that says there is NO shedding is wrong. No dog is 100% hypo allergenic. Also, pups should always be checked by a licensed vet. Yes this will cost extra for the breeder. A new puppy could have a hernia, heart murmur or something else undetected by the breeder or customer. They need to be VET checked. Many breeders say shots have been given.(this means they give the shots, with no vet check) Unless they have been checked by a vet, you do not know what you are buying. Any puppy could look healthy and have something wrong with it. This advice is my opinion only. I am not a vet but I have a good standing reputation as a breeder. (and I only breed goldendoodles, not any other dog) I take my pups to see our vet at six weeks. They are checked over and they receive their shots from him. I recently starting purchasing the WORMING medication from our vet. Since they are wormed at 2,4,6 weeks, I administer this liquid wormer. :) Our vet gives the pups an overall health check up. Please know what you are buying. Most times you get what you pay for. Please, please stay away from puppy mills or anyone that does not specialize in just one dog is breeding for more than just the love of the breed. Thank you for taking the time to read! :)
