Attention all pet lovers! Did you know that different dog breeds have different exercise requirements? It's important to tailor your pet's activity levels to their specific needs to ensure they stay healthy and happy.

According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), working and herding breeds like Australian Shepherds and Border Collies require more intense exercise, such as running or hiking, to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. Sporting breeds like Retrievers and Setters also need plenty of exercise, preferably in the form of long runs or swimming sessions.

On the other hand, smaller toy breeds like Chihuahuas and Pugs may only need short walks throughout the day, as they have fewer exercise requirements than their larger counterparts.

Regular exercise not only helps your dog maintain a healthy weight, but it also helps prevent destructive behavior and promotes positive socialization. Remember to always consult with a veterinarian before starting any new exercise routine with your furry friend.
