Our services are done in our fully loaded van, we have top of the line equipment inside Big Bertha. Shes an old and reliable van. We groom cats that are in any shape. We have never had to sedate any animal that we've groomed because our holistic approach makes them feel safe with us. We do all types of fun styles and haircuts and also have experience with hairless cats. We love all size, breed, and temperament cats.

You're booking an actual 4 hour arrival window. If your appointment time is 12noon,. Your arrival window is 10-2 P.M. We will send a text when we are on our way. We do our best to be thete for your chosen appointment time, but when dealing with animals, we can not guarantee how an animal will behave. or how their coats will be until we start the appointment, to complete their spaw day within their time, but we do not rush. we give every animal the time they need to get thru their grooming appointment, so it's as stress free and safe as possible. if the window is an issue, call and speak to us.

If you book now, that is blocking a time for your pet and is a commitment. Please call regarding any prices, quote, and questions before booking. IF YOU BOOK NOW, IT blocks time for us, which means you've committed to our service. You will be charged a cancelation fee if you don't cancel within 24 business hours of our appointment. Saturdays grooming prices are 25% more, as is after hours and same day fees. If we drive to your location, the full grooming fee is due. If you BOOK NOW, you're booking an actual appointment, and you will be doing so with our cancelation policy in mind. If you're unsure of the cost, CALL 860-384-5455 FIRST. But if you pick a date and time, you're entering an agreement to abide by our cancelation policy. We have very limited time, and people booking without understanding the fees is NOW 100% not tolerated!

Saturday Sunday and Afrer hours is a premium service and is 25% Additional.

It’s been a tough few years for all of us and we appreciate all the support and loyalty everyone has shown. Recently operating costs have continued to climb despite our best efforts to keep them within reason. The cost of living has also gone up expediently, and we have had to reevaluate our operating costs and pricing moving forward.

New Pricing includes our Premium SPAW Day Services. Deep Ear Cleaning, Sanitary and Nail Trim, Body Massaging during bath, Shampoo, Conditioner, Blow Dry, Brush, light Deshedding and pur free blueberry facial.

Med 26lbs – 44 lbs: $120 and up

Haircuts Start at:

Poodles, Doodles, Bichons and Oodle Mixes may be extra.

New Clients with Double Coated Breeds, Annual or First appointment will include a Mandatory Deshedding Treatment. This is due to the overwhelming number of double coated breed owners not regularly maintaining their pets coats. This service is more than just our normal premium spaw package and is substantially more work. Maintenance, Deshedding and/or bathing your pet should be done regularly. After our first appointment,

DeMatting / aggressive Pet fee is depending on severity size of dog and behavior.

Out of area trips will also incur a trip charge of $25+ outside our normal area of service.

Same Day Priority $150+ plus grooming cost ( if available openings)

Booking for my days off or After Hours $200 + plus grooming cost.

Emergency Flea or Skunk Appointments, $250 plus grooming cost

Warning: graphic images below. This is how i spent my late morning and afternoon. Grooming a cat is not for the faint of heart. These are the dangers we face when having to shave down a severely matted cat or dog who has never been groomed. We went slow, 😞 There were no warning signs. We finished the groom and I went to the ER. Unfortunately had to cancel the rest of our appointments today. Thank God for our understanding and loyal clients who realize I am only one person and sometimes have to take care of myself.

Because we are one of the only mobile groomers in the state to be accepting new clients, we are returning calls as fast as possible.

An absolutely amazing job replacing my entire water system on my mobile grooming van in southington ct! My new business had another incident amd we'd been closed for 3 months waiting on insurance. They came out, did AN AMAZING JOB and I am proud to say, after 3 months , Furry Paws Mobile Grooming is now reopened. I'm sorry for anyone who didn't receive calls during this time of closure. It was rough but we are more than tough!

The last week was wicked crazy. Illness hit us and hit us hard. We will see ya guys next week xoxo! If you haven't heard from me, make sure to call me. 860-384-5455. Also please make sure you confirm your appointments thru the system. Any appointment with 2 or more animals will have to make a non refundable deposit, of course refundable if canceled with at least 24 business hour notice.

A customer on Monday Booked us for 4 hours, didn't give the 24 hour cancelation like we so politely asked for and isn't paying the cancelation fee now. Remember , this kind of behavior gets you banned from our service. There are so many people needing service and to take my whole day of appointments is absolutely awful. I won't mention your name but you know who you are 😉

Sometimes all you need is love and patience. This is our last grooming before our vegas trip and the Maine c**n before this one effed me up. Bit scratched. This ragdoll was terrified also and latched onto my leg and then thigh/hip. I'm hurt and bleeding but still grooming with a Loving touch.

If we drive to your location and you aren't there, you're responsible for the full amount of your appointment and no further appointments will be made unless prepayment is made. We understand things come up but WE respect your time and we ask for the same.

Tips are very very much appreciated but NOT expected. As any service based industry, tip us the way you tip your hair stylist. We will still love your pet, even if you're not a tipper. A 15% automatic tip will be added for any client with 3 or more dogs. Tax is NEVER included in the quoted price. Please keep that in mind.

Meet Jordan and Cara.

Jordan is a Air Force Veteran, who served our country for 20 years as an Air Traffic Controller, at the rank of MSgt. He then continued his career in civil service as an Air Traffic Controller. He retired from civil service in 2015.

Cara has been a professional dog and cat groomer, animal behaviorist and trainer since 2003, and trained at CT School of Dog Grooming in 2005. After Covid-19,

Jordan and Cara decided to reopen Cara's very popular mobile dog grooming business, which operated in Brevard County Florida since 2014, and after relocating from Florida to Connecticut.

Between them, they have 4 Daughters and 2 sons, several grandchildren and furr children.
