Update: The birds have been adopted.
Up for adoption: We have a beautiful pair of Quaker birds that need a loving home. Kermit is the green Quaker and is a female. She was hatched 6/2021. Sam is a blue male Quaker. His hatch date is 4/30/2022. The green one Kermit likes to say p*ek a boo. The blue one Sam is a little more tame than Kermit. They will land on you when out of the cage, and Sam will sometimes step up on your finger. However, they do bite also and will need work with being handled. Up for adoption: This sweet female cat named Orca is available. She is a young cat. She has been vaccinated and was tested for feline leukemia, which was negative. She has medium to long fur and had to be shaved down from the middle of her back to the base of her tail due to mats in her fur. She also does need to be put on a diet as she is a bit overweight. Up for adoption: These adorable, playful, sweet bonded kittens are up for adoption. Approximately 4 months old. 1 male named Scooby doo and 1 female named whinnie the Pooh. They have a vet appointment in late February to be spayed and neutered. However, they can be adopted and go home now to an approved home. 2023 was another busy year for the Fund. We received over 3,700 requests for help for animals owned by low-income MA residents, and for animals being housed in municipal shelters.

Throughout 2023, the Fund sent out vouchers at a record rate and we will continue to answer these requests well into 2024. By visiting Line 33f when you file your MA Income Tax Form, you can help us get to the local animals waiting even sooner.

Great news: This dog is home safe
LOST DOG: Westfield dog went missing near Southwick. A pet transportation company delivered Whisky and upon arrival the driver opened the gate and her dog escaped and is now loose. He is a rescue, he is about 3 years old. He weighs between 11-13lbs. He is very timid and shy at first. If you have any information regarding him, please call his owner Olivia at 413-535-7262.
