We have a stack of store use small animal glass tanks most including a screen cover, water bottle and holder for $5 cash (no further discounts) take home as many as you need. Easy to clean and safe for your inhabitants can also be used for terrestrial reptiles.

We also have assorted sizes of store use reptile cages with and without covers in many prices stop by and check them out and our store use decor as well.

STORE CLOSING FIXTURES AND RACKS ETC AVAILABLE! Retail Sales used equipment available: we have gondolas double sided and single sided with pegboard and shelves, peg hooks in multiple sizes, pegboard baskets, peg hooks for multiple size items. We have a locking cash drawer receipts boxes. We also have several heavy duty, commercial shelving units, (one 3 eight foot sections sold as one unit) glass display cases, wooden bookshelves and multiple sizes slat wall rolling rack, small plastic pallets to keep your cardboard off the floor and convenience, shopping baskets with rack all for sale . In addition, we have multiple wire racks and support beams which we have used for overhead storage on our sales floor or they can be used in closet storage as shelves can be cut to fit we’ve use them in our overflow stockrooms they can support multiple glass cages and quite a bit of weight. This is a cash only offer and must pick up ASAP prior to store close on July 30th. Must must be able to break down and pick up racks without assistance during store hours or by appointment . Just THREE days left for retail sales and we have decided to go down another percentage off so until Friday July 26th at the end of the day all of our new retail stock is 50% off unless marked with no further discounts listed as we have bundled some products together at a dropper than 50% off rate. Store hours are 12-6pm if you need anything heavy moved you’ll have to wait until after 4 PM as staff is reduced. Store use items for sale are not included in this discount and are strictly cash only at this point

We have some CaribSea life rock Shapes one 20 lb box and CaribSea base Rock two 40 lb boxes available. Great sale day yesterday and we expect the best quite busy today from 12-5pm as we wind down the Closing Sale at the end of this coming week by July 26th. We still have a lot of stock especially in the reptile section and saltwater supplies and some in the small animal and dog and cat as well. We also have started to bring out our store use display tanks from the fish room, reptile department and small animal department as well as Decor from ALL those areas. Already many fish tanks have been sold including one of the two 125g displays. All these store use items are cash only as marked. Stop by and see what you Might want at these great prices. ONLY 6 MORE DAYS LEFT until the Russells Tropical Fish Store closes its 549 College Highway Location FOR GOOD! So stop by and see what’s left. please share this post to get the farthest reach thanks so much. We still have some grab n go Hammies in glass tanks with screen cover and water bottles and holders. We also have some assorted frogs scorpions and a beautiful curly hair tarantula. Also a few of the bioactive premade enclosures available and the complete set up for the Cuban Anole (this one is just gorgeous). We have a selection of new enclosures and all the hard stock necessities you may need at low low prices. We are also breaking down our display tanks fish and reptile and small animals and those are for sale now including the drilled paludarium and the 110g in the fish room small animal glass tanks too. We’ve already sold many if these tanks but if you’re interested come in and stake your claim heavy items will have to go out after 4pm when more staff is available to assist. We also have a large breeder bird cage and a huge rolling rabbit/Guinea pig hutch for sale. We also have stacking shopping baskets with holding rack for sale and lots of other items for retail sales that need to go before we close up for good at the end of the month. Alot of the racks are being sold and several larger ones are gone already we have many left including some double sided pegboard gondolas and shelves and single sided wall mounted gondolas and assorted heavy duty metal peg hooks. We have wooden book cases and small plastic pallets and store use reptile decors and lighting. We will continue to accept credit card and debit card until next Monday then it will be cash only after that stop by to see us as soon as you can the get the best deal possible before it’s all gone.

Had a customer come in the other day who got a bunch of different items for cats and dogs and reptiles because she told me she was making up raffle baskets for the association that She belonged to. What a clever way to get deeply discounted items for a charitable event while Everything is 40% off. We also have everything needed for a hermit crab set up, including substrate, water treatment, sponges, shells and food.
She even thought to buy a litter box and collars, and treats, a litter scoop and food bowls for people who might want a kitten. I thought that was a great idea. You can do the same thing for reptiles including a screen covered glass tank that would be a great raffle prize the only thing they need to get is the pet. Just a thought to be creative while prices are this low.

Now is the time for everyone who wanted to come in and help buy down stock to support Russells Tropical Fish… the discount is now at 40% and there’s not much time left. Those who told me they would be back to buy and donate to rescues or animal shelters that time has come we need to clear out the store so we can sell off all the racks and shelving units so all stock has to go ASAP before we have to move it to storage. I cannot answer all pricing questions you may have so stopping by the store is necessary to see the unadvertised deals available. Thank you to those who have come in already but I’m surprised we still have a lot to go especially any dog and cat food left. We also have litter boxes some collars and harness which shelters might love. Dog and Cat Nature’s Miracle products (only products I have found that do what they claim). I have personally stocked up on our flea and tick products for a full year we have both spot on and collars in stock and ready to do at a great price. Please share this post so we can sell down as soon as possible to help pay our debts (our bank has underhandedly (legal but not ethical) pulled our loans when they heard we are closing and wiped us out of funds even though we don’t have a set closing date so sales are more important than ever in addition we have to switch to cash only sales so if you wanted to buy something on credit please do it quickly). The current economy has not been kind to small businesses and we are a perfect example of that apparently being good at something does not translate to being successful as a business.

Today starting at Noon we will be increasing our discount to 40%. We still have a large amount of inventory in stock so stop by and grab it while you can I’m sure it will be going fast at Russells Tropical Fish. Some of the items still in stock in the freshwater/saltwater room include large fish tanks and stands (including 75g classic black pine), lighting fixtures and filters, medications and water chemistry items, decor, substrate and food and some of the weird items like tanks dividers and filter media. We also have lots left in the reptile area including large chameleon tanks kits and individual cages in multiple sizes, kits for snakes and adult bearded dragons and other reptile enclosures including mature bioactive enclosures planted and ready to go including isopods and springtails for tropical arboreal inhabitants. We still have lots of light fixtures, bulbs, heat pads foggers and decor for reptiles as well food substrate for reptiles. Some items are already deeply discounted and will not be included in this 40% off deal or are cash only sales and will be clearly marked as such.

Great News we’ve changed vendors for our feeder stock and have brought in bulk packaging with a corresponding change in pricing that brings us more in line with the competition while still offering superior quality of our in store managed products.
