Happy Labor Day! In celebration of today we are still working and cranking out heads. Here’s a few that are leaving the shop so far we’ve gotten 29 heads in just the month of August. Unreal! Good luck everyone this morning for the rifle antelope opener! We are just finishing up some antelope from the archery season and the beetles are ready to go! We have a large stock of antelope hangers from BFE Customs so give us a call or dm us to get those skulls cleaned up and your trophy on the wall!

Why use beetles is better than boiling skulls?? Here are a few reasons that separate some of the finer details. Dermestid beetles will get into every nook and cranny on these skulls. If there’s meat to be had they will find a way to get that meat! Boiling and pressure washing will break apart the inside nasal cavities and potentially damage the skull if not careful enough. Here are some photos of them at work and the fine details they help keep your trophies perfect. From the largest bull elk to the tiniest sandhill crane! Skulls are degreasing, whitening and the beetles are eating like crazy! We are ready for this hunting season to get your trophies on the wall. We also love showing off how good these beetles do when it comes to cleaning the skull so don’t be afraid to ask when you bring your skulls by to get done! Good luck out there!

🎉🔊 It’s getting close to the start of hunting season! Be sure to get to practicing, break in those boots ( I had to learn the hard way ) 😂 and have your gear list ready to go! If anyone needs an official score done or if you want your animal scored when you bring your head to us let us know he is eager and ready to get started!

First wave of antelope are all finished up! We’ve had a incredible year for antelope and elk so far. Hopefully the deer herds made it ok with the rough winter we had. We will have spots open this week if you’re ready to get your trophy on the wall!

We apologize for not posting lately as we have been extremely busy moving to our new house! We are still in the Spring Creek area and still sending out heads during the move. Can not explain how thankful I am for everyone we meet, the stories that we all share, and for the people we work with as well! at David Barb with BFE Custom has been amazing with all the mounts he has made and gotten orders out fast for our customers. This is a sign that was made by him and it’s absolutely gorgeous. We hope everyone has a merry Christmas as we are finishing up our last handful of skulls!!!!
