A lot of times I hear that people have had GSPs who are afraid of the water or won't go swimming. Valor and Henry have always loved the water and will swim for hours and hours if you let them.
I always make it a point to introduce our pups to water before they head home. These pups are already loving the water after just day two of having the pool put out for them. Now they wade around at their own leisure. Super cool to see!
**this water was clear, fresh, clean water from the hose but puppy dog feet tracked dirt and grass in over the past couple swims.***

These guys and girls are officially four weeks old! They are extremely funny, growling and barking at each other. They have begun weaning from mama milk but aren't loving it. Personalities are really beginning to shine and their ticking just keeps getting darker and more plentiful.

Rocket rocked out this Monday! He's the last little guy of our Buzz/Diamond litter! His dad is returning from active duty so Rocket is getting a little extra training and snuggle time before he goes home this weekend. His siblings went home a little over a week a ago.
We're excited to see this whole litter grow and thrive! They've all gone to absolutely perfect families and I can't wait for updates from each of them.
Rocket says "See ya soon mom and dad! We're gonna have such a fun life together!"

GSPs are not natural retrievers! However, working with your puppy from day one, on bringing their toy to you whenever you throw it can definitely instill a habit and in Valor’s case, an obsession! 🤪
Valor got her Grandaddy’s retrieve drive! 9PM games of fetch instead of watching the Super Bowl...sounds good to Valor and Carrie!
