Nash is still waiting to find his fur-ever family! This goofy boy is around 7-8 months old and 35 lbs. We think he is a beagle/ terrier mix. He is house and crate trained. He loves playing with toys and sticks. He is good with everyone. He listens well and is up to date on everything.

Please help us share some of our sweet pups looking for their fur-ever homes! They are all up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and current on monthly prevention. They are also all crate and house trained. They are all good with other dogs. We do not recommend cats with Spook or Shel but the others seem to do fine. Shel is absolutely amazing with kids!! Hey friends!! We wanted to share with you our newest orphan, who we pulled with your help and in honor of Maia! Meet Hazel the adorable! This sweet petite girl was dog tested with Maia at the shelter and did so good! She has also been there for a few months, so it was most definitely time to get her out! We think she is about a year old and she is 35 lbs. She is getting used to her foster home! She is heartworm negative!!! She will be spayed next week and once healed, ready for her new home! Thank you guys so much for helping us pull a new pup in honor of our sweet Maia.

We wanted to share this cute little fella that was thrown out on the side of 95 a few weeks back. Meet Nash, our newest orphan. This little guy doesn't let anything hold him back from playing. He is about 4 months old and 25 lbs. He will be ready for his fur-ever home very soon. His favorite pastimes are eating (🤣), running around like a crazy kid, and cuddling after he is worn out! He is a sweet little guy who is very smart. He does amazing in his crate already and goes to the door when he has to potty!

I type this with tears streaming down my face.

We pulled this sweet, sweet girl on Friday from our local shelter. We all know I have a huge spot for boxer and pittie mixes. So when I saw this face and how skinny she was, we wanted to help. Her foster noticed this weekend that she wasn't eating as well as he felt she should. We got her to our vet first thing yesterday morning. They sent out blood work and did radiographs. Her rads were a little concerning. They thought she may have a pyometra. Her blood work came back today, showing very elevated white blood cell count. We decided to jump into exploratory surgery to figure out what was going on. It was then that they saw her stomach was a huge mass. The doctors had never seen anything like it. So, with all her friends surrounding her, we let her go. I am absolutely devastated that this sweet girl only had a few days of love, but I do know she was truly loved this past few days. She got to sleep in bed last night and get so much love.

We want to pull another sweet kiddo in her name but could use your help this time. With the emergency surgery bill, we are low on funds. If you could please help in honor of Maia, I know she would love it, and the new pup will greatly appreciate it. And as always, thank you for your continued support. ~ Shanna

🚨Over 400 days🚨

That is how long our goofy Shel has been searching for his fur-ever home! Almost 2 years of not a single inquiry! Meet Draq, a 2 year old Bloodhound. He is a big guy at 90 lbs. Draq had a very rough beginning to life. We were told that he was bought for show dog status, but when he didn't win, the owner threw him outside like a piece of trash. They then tried to use him as a hunting dog, but he wasn't great at that either. He was left in a tiny, disgusting pen and fed every now and then. When he was finally rescued, he had a severe ear infection and was pretty emaciated. His journey to getting better started, but the trauma of his past never left him. He is nervous, and he will show barrier aggression (meaning barking and growling if someone approaches the fence he is in). We were told he has shown food and toy aggression. He did bark when one of the other dogs walked up to the crate while eating, but we deal with this behavior a lot. He is crate and house trained. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and current on heartworm prevention. He is great with other dogs, and we were told he doesn't mind cats at all. He does know some commands like sit. He is a very smart guy who needs someone who understands he isn't perfect and will continue to give him the time he needs. He has been bounced around a few times since being rescued, so he is a little unsure right now. We do, however, think he is going to be a great guy!

Courtesy post! Please help this sweet older gent find his fur-ever home.

Per his foster: I need some help with finding this poor guy a new home. His owner passed away, and no one wanted him and left him at the house. The landlord said he had to go. I have a friend who has taken him only temporarily cause he is also grieving for a dog he just lost. My friend has vetted him and is having him neutered.
The dog's name is Tippy, heartworm negative, overweight, no manners, house trained, and crate trained. He needs someone to be patient with him because he is confused and grieving himself. Can someone please help me find him a home or rescue.

We have to have some bloodhound lovers out there!?!?

Meet Drake. He is pretty new to the rescue, and we are learning a little more about him each day. He is 2 years old and 90 lbs. He has had a very rough life and is looking for someone who will continue working with him and letting him know that things are going to be ok. He is very smart and knows quite a few commands. He is great with other dogs. He can be food and toy aggressive due to his former conditions. He is also barrier reactive to strangers, but we are working with all that. Coraline is ready to find her fur-ever home! Her wounds are all healed, and she is feeling great. She is about 3 years old and 60-65 lbs. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and current on heartworm prevention. She is house and crate trained. She loves kids! She has been good with all her foster siblings. She even met the cats and ran away! Lol. Being a tri-pod definitely doesn't slow her down. She likes to be near her people but also loves exploring the yard. She is looking for a laid back family.

Earlier post from Feb:
We are not sure if y'all remember Coraline? She had a severely broken leg back in 2020, and her owner was going to have her euthanized. We stepped in, and after consulting with ortho, it was decided that amputation was the best option. She was adopted a few months later.

Fast forward to this weekend, and poor Coraline has found herself looking for another home. The family moved last February, and since then, Cora and her housemate have been getting into fights. This last fight, Cora, was hurt pretty bad (punctures in her front legs and head). The owner decided it was best that Coraline leave the house. She is healing right now, and soon, she will be ready for a new family!

She is seriously the sweetest girl. She is great with kids. And other than her female housemate, she has been great with other dogs. So if you are looking for a beautiful plott hound mix that is pretty laid back, check back in a few weeks!

Just wanted to share a pupdate on our sweet parvo girl! She is doing amazing! She is now up to 13 lbs! She is running and playing like a normal puppy should! She loves playing chase and finding sticks in the yard! Her favorite thing ever is to cuddle. She loves it. She will be ready for her fur-ever home before you know it! Aspen is celebrating because he has found his fur-ever family! Woo-hoo!! He gets to go to daycare to play with other pups, and he gets to go to work with mom sometimes! How amazing is that! So happy for our little guy!

Good morning friends! We wanted to share an update on our sweet little parvo pup! As you can see, she is starting to feel a lot better! We are so grateful for the donations, we almost have enough to cover her care! Sadly she is not completely out of the woods as she is also battling kennel cough or an upper respiratory issue, but she is taking her meds well! You can continue to send donations because we will definitely still need them! And again, thank you for your continued support!

I truly cannot understand why our Shel has not found his fur-ever home!!! Look how absolutely amazing he is with the puppies and how happy he is to have them climb all over him!
