A powerful tornado that struck the Quail Run Horse Centre in Elkhorn, Nebraska, on Friday, April 26, in the midst of a USEF-recognized hunter/jumper show, injured multiple horses and destroyed parts of the show grounds.

Cassie and Lindsey are at the Tack Swap, she still has bags full from the last 3 swaps she's not even unpacked YET !!! hahahaha, I didn't go on purpose, I still have 3 nice hunt bridles hanging in my bedroom we've not even brought out to use yet. LOL

bout time, ... and just what breed did they think was used all these years of show jumping, H/J, eventing, dressage, etc etc. ? anyway? really? ... i'd still take a TB over a dumbblood anyday.
think what you want, but the TB is the best part of any breed.
;)

Thoroughbreds will no longer be shown as "breeding unknown" in starting lists and results at the Olympics.

RIP Hannah Serfass. 💔
a tragic accident took the life of a brilliant rising star this past weekend. we send love and prayers to Robin and family and friends.
- training a daughter that spends every moment possible on horses and ponies, and a son who rides as well, and now g'kids on ponies, this touches every part of my soul. Hannah’s tragic accident stirs very deep emotions in me.
Cassie came off a race horse on the backstretch as the horse hit the railing because of another horse and jockey. my heart did somersaults... she bailed and hit hard. my son came off a young large pony he was breaking in for g'kids and hit fencing, scared me breathless too. ...
- why do we do what we do? I've come off, fell with my mare Kiss on course. she slipped, yet we keep doing what we do. love horses, it is our lifestyle.
- our life.

now, we will and keep her in our thoughts.
