We have learned so much since we first started raising Ragdolls and this is one of them. I never knew or dreamed kittens really needed to be 12 weeks or older.. Now I don’t let our kittens leave until 12-14 weeks old and later if they wean slower. Raising Ragdolls I have learned so much about the breed. I have made mistakes along the way but that’s called growing!! I love this breed so much and can’t wait to see what else I will learn in the next year to come.

12 weeks is the optimal time to adopt a kitten, although they are independent by 10 weeks, there are many benefits to staying with her until 12 weeks.

We are wanting to let you guys know we have changed our name from Show Me Ragdolls to Ragdoll City because there is another cattery with close to the same name we had and it’s confusing people. 🤔 We are going to our first cat show so wanted to get it changed before I show a few of our precious Ragdolls!!
