Today, I am thankful for Patty McCartin recommending my program to Anne MacEwen Kennedy for her daughter Taylor. Taylor came to me this summer to get comfortable going fast and learn how to rein around.
The summer of Taylor and Neon wrapped up last weekend with Taylor showing both Neon and Sparkle and coming in first and second in both of her classes. We will miss you, Taylor, especially watching your face after you slide and turn around to check out those elevens in the dirt. You always have a place at Lee Bennett Performance Horses!

Yesterday Lee helped raise money for the Appaloosa Youth Association by taking a pie, or 10, to the face.

We took a break from load out day to watch Shawn win the American Military Celebration presented by Charly Crawford at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Stockyards! Extremely proud of Ryker and Shawn’s performance this week. Earlier this week the team won the Non-Pro Judged Heading at the ApHC World Show. Congratulations, Shawn!
