I’m going to leave this right here! THIS, this is what makes me sad. The girls may have shared this with some of you. I don’t live in St. Charles anymore. I live 2.5 hours away now. My staff has basically ran the ship since we came back from our bad decision. I was so tired and battered after that, I truly had nothing left in me. My girls took it from there.

I haven’t looked to see who this person is, but this was posted in the last 24 hours. This is probably based off of only interaction with the staff. I haven’t been in town for over 2 months.

I’m gonna stop my post here. Thank you to whoever you are! ❤️

Hello everone! After years on FB and years running before FB, I’ve made a decision that comes with mixed reviews. Unlike my typical approach with my people, I stood my ground on my decision. I come from the thoughts of being kind to the pets and the clients that grace our doors. My employees (family) typically make all the decisions. I made this one. Please don’t beat them up. We appreciate each and every one of you.

That being said, we will no longer participate in here on this platform. You all were basically notified after my co workers. I like to keep you informed.

Just a few, personal thoughts, not to be taken personally.

This forum is filled with evil and hate.

My page has been used by nosy, not what we consider competition, businesses, groomers, and other groups in an effort to gather information, contact our clients, and basically disrupt our lives due to their misery. We have addressed these issues privately and a few publicly for many years. The grooming industry is a different beast.

Before this gets out of hand! Again, you pretty much knew immediately before anyone else.

*The shop is not closing!
* We are not moving!
*All of our staff is the same and in place!
*The phone number will be the same
* if you have questions call directly
* We are here for YOU!
* Don’t listen to any gossip.

Don’t be surprised if you see an increase in MoeGo texts. We will carry on with our normal amount. Unfortunately we trusted a business and they basically stole, not basically, did steal our contact information for YOU! If you are concerned about your information being taken, we will figure out a way for you to contact MoeGo directly. I feel people are stronger in numbers. I have posted my concerns before and no client reached out.

Just make sure you watch who they come from. They know this and will spray you all occasionally in an attempt to confuse you and make a dime. This has never been our ethic approach when conducting business.

Call the shop with your future appointments. I will be looking for a replacement for MoeGo. I’m not sure there are better out there. We will see.

Hello everyone. We have continued to try and keep the healthiest relationship with The Furr Factory as possible since they fired our whole staff, including the owner, who was told he would be 50/50 partner.

In texting today, The Furr Factory informed us that they would be sending out their mass emails again, which contain most of your information that would not be relinquished.

Anyway, if you receive any texts, please look closely. This gets very confusing. Make sure it’s The Barker Shop that you respond to. Many clients have blocked the number from The Furr Factory, and this helps.

We believe in supporting small business, and we know you have a lot of options out there. Thanks for being part of The Barker Shop Family.
