Hello everyone! I'm looking for some help transporting a dog for the American Brittany Rescue tomorrow, Saturday 12/2. The transport is from Columbia, MO to Foristell, MO. You would meet someone in Columbia at 10:45 am to get the dog, then meet the next driver in Foristell around 12:00.

Ooohhh, what's that??? Violet went home on Thursday and was in the field on Saturday! She has so much drive and confidence. I can't wait to see how she does!

Hey everyone! I still have 3 puppies looking for their forever homes, and I am VERY eager to find homes for them asap! They come from champion bloodlines, and will be good representations of the Brittany breed.

Puppies are UTD on vaccinations, are micro-chipped, and come with a health guarantee. Parents have been health tested.

Surprise, surprise! It looks like I now also have a female puppy available, in addition to the 2 males. If you're on the fence, maybe this will push you over!

The sire is NAGDC FC/AFC Hurricane Banjo. Banjo won the National Championship in 2020 as a 3 year old, and has gone on to place at some of the most prestigious field trials in the country.

Sammie is a beautiful and intelligent hunting companion and pet. She is 3 years old and does obedience and agility with my 14 year old son.

UPDATE: Both puppies have found their forever homes!

I have 1 L&W male and 1 O&W female puppy available. They were born 5/14/22. Both parents have impressive pedigrees.

Sire is NAFC/GAFC/GFC/DC ANJ's Ohio Hellion. Hank's accomplishments speak for themselves. Hank is OFA Good - hips & elbows, eyes cert normal, and is DNA profiled.

Dam is Le Point De Grace Mile-A-Minute JH. Myla is a companion hunting dog, and my son handles her in our local 4-H Dog Care program. They primarily do obedience and agility in 4-H, and they also enjoy doing AKC Hunt Tests. Myla is OFA Good.

Copies of both pedigrees are attached. Puppies have had their first set of shots, are micro-chipped, and come with a health guarantee.

The Brittany was introduced to America in 1931. In 1934, the AKC registered its first dog of the breed, then called the Brittany Spaniel. (In France, the breed is still known as “l’épagneul Breton,” or Brittany Spaniel.) During the 20th century, American and French lines diverged. By mid-century, the U.S. breed fancy considered their Brittanys more pointers than spaniels in working style, and the AKC breed named was shortened to Brittany in 1982.🐾

I thought I would share a few pics of the 4-H Kids & K9s camp last weekend. The boys and the dogs had a lot of fun! They got to work on obedience, agility, rally, tricks, and junior showmanship. It was Sammie's first big event, and she did great! On Sunday they watched a dock dog demonstration, and a Shutzhund demonstration that was done by an organization called K9s on the Frontline from Jefferson city, MO. They provide fully trained PTSD service dogs to combat veterans at no cost to the veteran. The kids got to try on the protective suit. It weighed 45 lbs!

I'm sharing this for the American Brittany Rescue. We are looking for some help with a transport. I believe we only need to fill leg 2 (Effingham to Terre Haute) to make this happen. If anyone out there can help please let me know...

URGENT Transport needed for tomorrow! We are needing to fill 2 legs for 2 Britt mix pups (12 weeks old) We have the 1st and last leg filled, but need these 2 middle ones filled to make it a go! Cole & I had a great time at the GSLBC Horseback Field Trial yesterday! We didn't enter a dog but we had fun riding and watching the other dogs and handlers. It was Cole's first field trial and he really enjoyed it! THANK YOU to everyone there for helping us out and making us feel welcome! We'll be back! I think we need a new puppy! 🙂🐾

I'm not the best videographer, but these guys had a blast in the snow today! These two boys are still available and would love to wake up under your tree on Christmas morning!! One is orange & white. The other is orange roan. He will get more "ticking" over time. These pups will make great hunting companions and wonderful family pets! PM or call me if interested.

The two remaining pups got to have some fun in the field on Saturday!! We went hunting at Wil-Nor Outdoors in Dittmer, MO. Myla was awesome! Me not so much. Luckily I had a great backup shooter! It was a beautiful day. Myla got to hunt with her littermate, Rusty. The pups loved getting out in the field. It was their first experience with birds and they definitely showed interest! Thank you to Ben Brooks and Rusty for letting us tag along with you!

Good information

There are lots of foods around this holiday that can be harmful to our pets. Onions, garlic, fatty meats, grapes, bones, chocolate and anything containing Xylitol. Let's just not let them have ANY human foods--it leaves more for us :)

The puppies loved getting out today and enjoying the nice weather! They played for a while and then they went down one by one until all that was left was a pile of puppies! They loved basking in the sun!
