Do you have a "lawn ornament" that you can't imagine doing any horsey things with, they like people but havn't been introduced to riding?

We are new trainers and currently offering free training with one exception.
You provide feed and medical while the horse/pony stays with us. We ask for 3 months but it is negotiable.
You are welcome to come visit or watch!
Having them here allows us nonstop interaction vs an hour or so a few times a week.
You are welcome to visit our horses and see how our training has been successful.

We had a 9 year old horse (spitfire) that had served as a good dog.. like to be petted and came when called but had never had tack or a rider... he is now in fun youth shows!

Let's go over some horse community etiquette!

When your a driver and you see a horse on the road or close to the side of the road.
Slow down and drive cautiously.
Please do not honk.
Please DO:
Roll down your window and take pictures or say hello!
Leave some distance between the red light and cross walk as not to startle horse or rider.
Be aware of others around you not seeing the slowdown memo.
Do not encourage rider to cross, be patient and let rider determine if all directions are safe.

If you on foot:
Do NOT approach horse from the very back.
None of our horses are kickers but there is always a first to be startled. We work very hard to help our horses have many experiences so they don't startle... but there is no guarantee.

Which brings us to the red ribbon!
***If you see bright red ribbon or bow on a horses tail it means they are KNOWN to kick!!!!
Stay away!*
Again, none of ours are known to kick.

Some of our horses are giant babies and they do not look to be 1 or 2 years old.
These horses will be a bit more Dancey and anxious because they're in training and haven't been tempered like our older more experienced horses and ponies.
We have one little girl who is 12 and will never get bigger, Ebony, people mistake her for a baby but she is a "big girl". ;)
We look forward to getting to know the community and sharing our love for horses, please share the world with them!

We are talking about having a clean up Bellefontaine day between Parker and New Jamestown. Where we will bring the horses out and meet and greet as we walk along the road and do clean up.

Spitfire
Born in 2010
In spanishlake missouri.
We have had him in our family since birth.
He was 9 when he was gifted to me by my grandparents and that is when his training truly began. Now he competes in shows and goes on trails. He is king on the ranch!
And he is my heart horse, which means he and I are very bonded.
