As some of you may already know, I’m not just a pet groomer- I’m also a pet portrait artist!

I have officially started the process of opening a brick and mortar location for Off the Fluff. I have most of the stuff I need and am looking into business loans, but I’m also offering pet portrait commissions to help raise the funds needed to get the shop off the ground!

A few years ago, I almost quit grooming entirely.

I was so frustrated. I had spent so much time and work into honing my particular style and perfecting elaborate haircuts, only to have every client tell me they didn’t like it and they wanted me to shave it all off.

There was so art. No style. No expression.

Then I moved. And I moved again. And this time, I stuck to my style… and people LOVED it. So much so, that to this day I am still getting calls from clients who moved heaven and earth to find my contact information because they missed MY style.

I’m so glad I didn’t give up. I’m so glad I inserted my heart and soul into my work again.

Off the Fluff Pet Care may just be in my kitchen now, but soon, it’s going to be massive, and I know all these familiar faces will be following me the whole way.

I have some exciting news for those who would love to support me, but don’t have the space to accommodate house call grooming;

Starting this Saturday, I will be at Elite Pet Spa in Clayton Tuesday-Saturday! If you’re reading this and worrying about your future house call appointments, no need to worry! I will still be performing house calls on Mondays! To book with me at Elite, you will need to call them and ask for me.
