**with the colder weather, we ran out of straw. More will be delivered to the tent this week, we will post the day it's restocked**

We have a self serve straw tent this year to provide your dogs with a dry, warmer doghouse. The tent is located at Hoyt Park (near the ball field next to the zoo) at 1574 S Washington. Please help yourself to just one bale per dog so everyone has a chance to get one. We will being filling the tent all winter ❤️🐶
Why straw? Straw does not hold in moisture and provides insulation to keep your pet dry & warmer in the cold temperatures. Blankets & cushions will freeze!

Attention all Bay County Residences. Last night a tragedy hit Furfest Rockin the Rescues. There was a fire last night that literally ravaged the Gokee's household where some of the cats were staying. They were able to get some of the cats out but unfortunately they could not get every animal out. The Rescue has lost everything. We are asking the public to use us as a drop off station for Furfest to take in cat food( wet & dry, plus adult, senior, & kitten), litter, bedding, kitten formula, cages, & carriers, that they will need. You can come to the shelter & drop off here & we will make sure Furfest receives everything. 800 Livingston Bay City MI 48708

This handsome boy was found as a stray, and is now looking for a forever home. He is a bit timid and not super comfortable with handling yet, so we would recommend him for an adult owner.
