Our rescue currently has a Great Pyrenees available for adoption, although her background information is limited. She exhibits a gentle disposition and is estimated to be under one year of age. Her playful personality is readily apparent. We are actively addressing food-related resource guarding issues and socialization concerns related to interactions with other dogs. Interested parties are encouraged to contact us. This affectionate dog craves attention and eagerly awaits placement in her permanent home.

Our rescue team has successfully apprehended the final kitten! We're still working to capture the mother, who proves to be quite evasive. Meanwhile, the two female kittens are ready for adoption and eager to find their forever homes. Both feature distinctive tortoiseshell/calico markings, with varying coat lengths. While initially skittish, they're progressing daily. Prospective adopters should reach out to the rescue to provide a stable and loving environment for these kittens.

We've managed to catch one of the feral cat's offspring. Two more are presumed to exist. The cat was left in our barn while heavily pregnant, and shortly after, she delivered her kittens in the woods around 5-6 weeks ago. Sightings confirm three kittens: a calico with medium-length fur, and two long-haired kittens, one red tabby and one grey tabby. We're looking for someone with patience to nurture this kitten into a gentle pet. Please reach out to express interest.

We recently received a Great Pyrenees at our rescue, though details about her past are scarce. She appears to be a gentle dog and is believed to be less than a year old. Her playful nature is evident. We are currently working to alleviate food-related resource guarding. Additionally, she displays apprehension towards other dogs. We are now ready to make River available for adoption. Her weight gain and improved paw condition are promising signs. Estimated to be approximately four years old, River has received all necessary vaccinations and deworming treatments. This gentle soul exhibits affection towards everyone and demonstrates impressive obedience training, responding well to commands. River thrives on playtime and human interaction. A securely fenced yard is ideal. Although she coexists peacefully with other dogs, socialization was postponed due to her injury. While River has chased cats, she shows minimal interest in them. This beautiful German Shepherd we named River. The vet thinks she is anywhere from 5-7 years old. She was found in Ararat VA a little over a week ago. At some point two months ago the Vet thinks she broke her front paw, never fixed properly so there is a chance she will have a permanent limp. She has been vaccinated and dewormed and as soon as she is healthy enough she will go up for adoption!

Approximately one week ago, an animal was discovered in Ararat, Virginia, and was brought to the rescue group today. The animal is currently at the vet's office awaiting evaluation. Please contact us if you are the owner or know the owner's identity.

We are seeking the owner of a found male beagle, seemingly trained and sweet. He was discovered in someone's yard, but they were unable to keep him. No microchip. We did deworm and gave distemper and rabies vaccine, as well next ward for fleas and ticks. We will hold onto him and care for him temporarily. If his home is not located, he will be put up for adoption. If interested, please visit our website to fill out an application.

A long day already. Horses broke out of the pasture and went to visit the neighbours. (Not Sweetheart cause she knows better) They are back. I then had to walk around the pasture fencing and fix and reinforce. Arleen Hume having flashbacks of Cochise breaking out and running down cedar lane. Had to wake Matt to help. Then the pool stopped working. Felicity destroyed her bed, still looking for homes for three of the dogs asap. . . It's only 8:30am ahhh. Pic, is after they are back. (Best view)

We have five puppies left! Two chocolate and one black and white a tan and white and a fluffy black and white. We know Mom is a dachshund mix. We have two litters by the same mom not sure what dad is in either litter. Two puppies are 9 weeks the other three are 7 weeks almost 8. They have been dewormed and vaccinated and treated for fleas and ticks. If you are close by to the rescue every 2 - 3 weeks for the next three shots you can just stop on by and we'll update them for you, that's included in the adoption. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. There is an adoption fee. We are willing to deliver the puppies to you if you are not that far from us. Puppies for adoption!!!

Hey everyone. I know we have been a little quiet for the last few weeks. My father unexpectedly passed away. I have been dealing with this the best I can. We are still here and slowly growing. We are working on finishing our second pasture and putting in more outside dog runs. We still have some dogs up for adoption, that we are desperate to find homes. I have received many messages and I promise I am not ignoring anyone, we will get back to you! Thank you all so much for your support.

Meet Spud. He is a one year old neutered Labrador retriever. He is house trained and knows commands. He loves to play fetch. Has no interest in the cats and gets along great with the other dogs here at the rescue. He is great with our kids and just wants to be loved all day long. Unfortunately Spud has some problems with his back legs. The vet took some X-rays and said he has hip displacia. We are putting him on glucosamine supplements and adequan shots most likely for the rest of his life. We are hoping to find someone who is willing to give Spud his fur-ever home.
