It has been a hectic two days here at the farm. Yesterday one of our goats had a difficult day giving birth. 2 still born and one that didn't make the 24 hours, wouldn't latch to the bottle and mom had no milk. Today the other goat gave birth to triplets all healthy 2 boys and a girl. A very big circle of life and learning experience for the children.

Today's offering is boneless pork chops that are going to be seared then added to the homemade tomato sauce (gravy for my Italian Philly friends). The searing provides a nice base of brown bits for your sauce.

Fresh bone in pork chops 1" thick and fitting in the palm of your hand. This is not your grocery store chops. Hand raised and loved, half a pig loads a cooler. $4 a lb hanging weight for 1/2 pig.
