I’m now on Maternity leave! This is a long overdue post, but business is on pause for the summer as I unfortunately lost my employee and am fortunately tied up with my wonderful newborn son. I am not booking any appointments currently as I don’t have a set return date, but I am shooting for September, 2024 to resume the doggy spa treatment. Thank you all for understanding, I will update all past clients and those on my waiting list when I set plans in stone.

We had a suprise visitor volunteer for our services of his own accord today. No, I do not groom cats, although Dexter seemed set on convincing me otherwise. I’ve never seen a cat get in the bathtub so enthusiastically.

Just an overdue reminder- I do not do any sort of scheduling through Facebook!! The flip side of spending 80% of my day with furry friends is that I’m completely tech-illiterate, and have not been able to figure out how to ged rid of that option.

I am fortunate to have a wonderful clientele of doodle puppies who are learning the ropes and extremely well behaved (for the groomer at least). I look forward to watching them grow! The dapper Ms. Binks here is one of them.

It is refreshing yet takes me aback meeting puppies who are mellow and mature at a young age. How much is nature or nurture is hard to say, but this little fellow was certainly a mix both. Maverick is remarkably relaxed and composed for four months old, and his human Mama did a great job of socializing and desensitizing him. I look forward to our future appointments and watching this Dapper boy grow up. Dogs can learn to be terrified of bejng groomed, tolerate it, or for some, love it. It’s up to us groomers and their owners to give them a fair, gradual start to avoid negative experiences.

Sasquatch Water Company doesn’t just have pure, great tasting water and ice, but also one of the best behaved (and cutest!) doodle puppies out there. Young Mr. Dax was a pleasure to work with, and such a Dapper Dog! I must admit, the wild child hippie before-look does appeal to me 🤔😉

Alrighty everyone, we have secured our location and will be opening on Monday. Because we purchased an already established business, we will be running as RACE auto care for the next few months to ease the transition, clean shop, and prepare for our future. Our goal is by Fall to acquire another location and make the decision of where we are running what business at that time. Referencing Alli Kat Auto is encouraged, either way I will be overseeing what comes into the shop. Robert will be the other tech and does outstanding repairs, extremely experienced, and excited to have the opportunity to help you achieve your dreams. We are still concentrated on performance but having 2 techs and soon more along with more locations we are bringing everything in.

Our goal is to be a 1 stop shop with multiple locations, if it has wheels, pistons, or power we will be able to help.

Unfortunately, there are no mobile repairs yet, but don't count us out my experience these last few months was great it will be a service provided in the foreseeable future.
