We have applied the same careful consideration to our llama breeding program. That has taken us to many top ribbons including Regional and National Championships. Along the way we refined our goals of breeding the best llamas we could. We set out to produce gentle, friendly llamas that were tall, long necked, correct legged, well-balanced, and fluid moving with attractive heads and look-at-me pres
ence. We studied what the most successful breeders in the industry were producing, and then began acquiring llamas from renowned and proven bloodlines to improve our own program. We have seen an increasing marketability of premium llama fiber, and the need for producing fine, dense, lustrous fiber on our llamas. We determined adding Argentine blood to our breeding program would best help us increase those qualities in our herd. The two new Argentine sires we have brought into our program come from some of the most influential Argentines brought to the United States. They make an impact wherever they go, and even the ½ Argentines strongly exhibit the trademark looks of robust bodies, heavy leg bones, and fine dense fiber coverage. No wonder they are known as the gentle “teddy bears” of the llama world. Our herd of carefully selected, well-bred females boasts some of the outstanding sires and dams of the industry in their pedigrees. Many are top ribbon winners or Champions themselves. We are very excited about breeding our gorgeous girls to our new Argentine boys. They both are handsome, sturdy, gentle, guys with fabulous fiber! It’s a very exciting time to be in the llama industry, and we plan to be on the cutting edge with the quality of llamas from our farm. We are offering some of our best females bred to Argentine Simpatico, or a breeding next year to Argentine Mach One. Perhaps you would like to bring one of your own lovely ladies to acquire some awesome Argentine qualities. We have safe, llama friendly facilities and care for your visiting llama as one of our own.
