HONEY is a Red Nose American Pitbull Terrier whose breed ranks very high in intelligence, temperament and loyalty and are also known to be exceptionally obedient and eager to please which makes them very easy to train! ๐

He has a beautiful and unique soft BLUE MERLE COLORED COAT with gorgeous, LIGHT BLUE IRIDESCENT EYES to match! He is truly a ONE OF A KIND pup!
He LOVES PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, and would make a GREAT FAMILY PET, but because of his size (about 65 lbs.), he would probably do best with children that are a little steadier on their feet (8 years and older). He GETS ALONG WELL WITH OTHER DOGS too, so a canine brother or sister may also be an option for him!
You may notice his โBALLERINA PAWโ (Carpal Varu) which is a genetic condition causing one of his paws to turn out but donโt worry, it requires NO medical intervention or attention and as you can see it DOES NOT AFFECT HIM IN THE LEAST! He runs like the wind and is a volunteer favorite to take on walks!

Coming in to volunteer is always so much fun because the first kitty to greet you is always KNIGHT! She is our longest resident, arriving in 2018 as a super sassy, swatty cat who was mad at the world for whatever happened to her before she came to us! Itโs taken her quite a long time to tell us she is ready for adoption but she finally is!! Sheโs worked with a behaviorist and has gotten so much more friendly and oh so loveable in a sassy way! Sheโs about 7 years old and had all her teeth removed because they were badly infected and that probably contributed to her being cranky and not wanting to be around anyone or anything. She canโt bite anyone โ
๐คฃ, and she eats a normal diet of delay and wet food- no need for special food! She still doesnโt like other cats so she will need to be your one and only pet but she has more than enough cute and sassy purrsonality to go around! Adults only or teenagers who can respect her boundaries as this cutie will greet everyone and give them a light slap if they donโt listen to her commands! She just had her first fitting for a custom wheelchair earlier this week! While we fine-tune the adjustments, Tia's excitement is palpable.
