The Battle is Real
Our flesh groans with each sculpting touch,
the Spirit delights in the transformation
our faith creates as we turn
and Jesus looks back at Him.
One painful ecstasy after the other,
we continue in His will;
the Sculptor molds,
the Teacher reveals, and
the student transforms
as we abide in faith.
The new day has come!
The battle for your heart is One,
the battle for your mind continues.
The giant that faced you each morning
still waits,
retreats powerless, as it now sees
‘ His beloved’ empowered child walking
in the will of God.
The Word drawn from the sheath
cuts through the darkness
where the deceiver hides to regroup,
slicing to nothing
all barriers thrown in your Way.
This battle rages in your mind:
how we feel, think, what we say.
What do you say?
What do you see?
Who do you think you are?
You can control your thoughts.
Purposely think and meditate
on God’s Word,
leaving absolutely NO ROOM
for anything else.
Remember who you are in God’s eyes,
by the blood of Jesus.
You are sanctified presented
Holy as He is Holy.
You are ‘His Beloved!’
The conflict between
the Spiritual and the flesh
remains the same;
the difference is in the warrior.
We rest in the finished work
of Jesus
and ‘work’ to remain
in the Spirit alive in you.
Renewed, refreshed, recharged,
empowered by faith,
walking in His righteousness,
the powerful mighty
Word of God kept by faith.

Lamentations 3 ERV
17. I thought I would never have peace again. I forgot about good things.
18 I said to myself, “I no longer have any hope that the Lord will help me.”
19 Remember, I am very sad, and I have no home. Remember the bitter poison that you gave me.
20 I remember well all my troubles, and I am very sad.
21 But then I think about this, and I have hope:
22 We are still alive because the Lord’s faithful love never ends.
23 Every morning, he shows it in new ways! You are so very true and loyal!
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my God, and I trust him.”
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him. He is good to those who look for him.26 It is good to wait quietly for the Lord to save them.
Romans 8 ERV
36 As the Scriptures say, “For you we are in danger of death all the time. People think we are worth no more than sheep to be killed.”
37 But in all these troubles, we have complete victory through God, who has shown his love for us. 38-39 Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from God’s love—not death, life, angels, or ruling spirits. I am sure that nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us or nothing below us—nothing in the whole created world—will ever be able to separate us from the love God has shown us in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Amos 9 ERV God Promises to Restore the Kingdom
11 “David’s tent (the city of Jerusalem or the country of Judah) has fallen, but at that time, I will set it up again.
I will fix its holes and repair its ruined parts. I will set it up as it was before.
12 Then the people left alive in Edom, and all the people called by my name, will look to me for help.”
This is what the Lord said, and he will make it happen.
13 The Lord says, “A time of great blessing is coming."
