We are pleased to announce Aisle Twelve menu for the Holiday Pop-up market! at La Salita Restaurant this Saturday, December 7 from 11am to 2pm! Grab a hot seasonal drink from Aisle Twelve while you stroll & do your holiday shopping!

We have lots of amazing small local women & minority owned businesses to support! In addition, some beautiful affordable art donated by local artist, Ivana Starcevic.

Plus have a delicious vegan lunch (% being donated to Santuario de Karuna) & grab a dessert from the SDK bake sale!

Hi! I just spoke with you on the phone. Thanks so much for spreading the word about this sweet girl.

Sadie is a senior dog, about 15 years old, who needs a new home as her companion person is moving into assisted living in a few days. She’s good-natured, loving, and sweet.

Sadie needs a bit of training. She is in good health, though she’ll need dental work. I will be covering her dental and any future medical costs. There’s an additional small stipend for her food and treats.

Here is our new girl Tinker Bell! She has been here about a little over a week. Her owner passed away and family member dumped her at Hound Haven. She lived in the kennel for a couple of weeks until Lee Ann asked us to take her. She was treated like gold at the kennel , but still was traumatized from the whole ordeal. Her real name was Stinker but we all didn’t like that . Lee Ann tried renaming her but she wouldn’t answer to anything but Stinker. She is such a sweet and good girl. We took her to Dr. Dixon and she was spayed and shots and fixed all up. She then went back to Hound Haven for about a week and then came here. She settled in quite nicely and no problems whatsoever! When she came here there just wasn’t a name until I decided to drop the S and call her Tinker! Tinker came running! She is such a good girl, a dear friend is already adopting her. He is so excited to get her when he gets back from his trip . Until then Tinker is a pretty happy to be here with us at Sunflower! 🌻 ❤️🐾

Hi. My name is Buddy. I am a 10 month old German Shepherd.
I was skinny, sick and terrified when I was found in a parking lot by a nice young man. Luckily he was an animal lover and took the time to try and find somewhere for me to go...other than the shelter.
Thank God Miss Cynthia answered the call and Sunflower Sanctuary agreed to take me in.
Miss Christine who helps at the rescue agreed to foster me. I am living with her and her pack while I get well and learn how to be a dog.
My foster mom said I am submissive and sweet, gentle and loving. I've learned to love cuddles, kisses and pets.
I am working really hard on mastering being housebroken.
When I gain some weight and finish with some basic training, I will be available for adoption. If you would like to help out and donate our vet bills are high now. We owe, we, owe, we owe!
