I didn't realize dragonflies eat mosquitoes

We lost our girl Baggie a couple of days ago. We're not positive what caused a blockage in her intestines, a partial corn cob she stole was in her bed plus she stole some rawhide. We didn't know anything had happened until we let her go outside in the morning. It all happened so fast.

She was a good girl with a howl like no other! She was lazy and happy and loved.

We had a little tornado last night... it took shingles and that's about it for the house, but some of our trees didn't make it. I was up taking videos but chickened out when my tree in front of the house was sideways.

After all of my heart issues, I finally made it back to Woodstock Vermont for my best friend's 85th birthday! It was a challenge, from 2am to 4:30pm to finally get here, 3 airports and a 2 1/2 hour bus ride.

I am sad to say that I had problems with my old phone and lost the phone numbers for some of my friends so I'll have to track them down. I plan on a nice relaxing break.

Finally completed a project! Made this birdbath out of concrete using an elephant ear on sand. My heart attacks kind of put a halt to it. These pictures are from inside my She Shed so the pictures aren't the greatest. I painted the inside with fall colors. More pictures will come when it is set up outside

Nothing like the sound of rain on a tin roof

Moonie was saying hello to her year old son on the other side of the fence and I just missed it on the video :(. Here's Moonie with this year's kids, a little girl Bootsie and her stocky brother Taco.

Here's our 2 new little kids! They were born around 2:15pm yesterday, February 22, 2024. Our goat Moonie Pie had one little boy, Bandaid, last March. The light colored baby is a little girl named Button, at least for now. Her big brother is possibly Choco (chocolate) or Taco or yet to be determined. Based on the coloring, our boy Harley is the daddy. He just showed up at our pasture gate last summer...

This is my 1st attempt at a straw bale vegetable garden. Tomatoes, zucchini, peppers and butternut squash all doing great!

FYI TO THOSE LOOKING FOR GOATS - I DO NOT SELL MY GOATS, THEY ARE OUR PETS. Bandaid's 1 week birthday! He and his mama, Moonie got out for the 1st time and my, my was there joy!

Update on Moonie. She had 7 strong contractions the night before last, but she quit. Her kid(s) are in place, her bag swelled a lot and she had the string of white mucous. She has swelled up then went back to precontractions look. She's done that twice and is swelling again. She yawns and licks like crazy. Her kid(s) were rocking and rolling this morning. I sure hope she gets going soon, preferably not in the middle of the night! We now have cameras up so I can watch and listen in the comfort of the house! Keep sending those good thoughts and prayers! I think Moonie Pie might have her baby very soon! I can't wait to have goat kiddies hopping around!
