He’s been in training for almost a month now & is an awesome puppy and would anyone a great hunting partner or house dog. He’s currently at Long Cane Retrievers with Kaleb Davis working on exposure and training. He’s very bold, adventurous, independent, and doing extremely well with everything thrown his way. He’s crate trained as well.

He’s current on vaccines- meaning he only needs 1 more booster & rabies next vet visit & he’s finished his puppy series! He’s been microchipped and goes goody basket we send home along with a small bag of purina pro plan puppy food can be found in the post, the flyer with the parents and clearances can also be found in the post

We’re not sure who’s more excited “Alpha” now named Beau or his little boy BFF in the making! He’s headed to NC with his new family today 🩵

So thankful for Long Cane Retrievers for boarding and working with them while we’ve been with our newest addition. Y’all won’t be displeased with Kaleb & Kandice taking care of or training your dogs for you!

It’s ALWAYS the head tilt for me with this guy and I’m shocked nobody has claimed him

He is also currently enrolled in Long Cane Retrievers puppy headstart program. Kaleb says they are very bold and adventurous puppies. Very smart and easily trained. They’re pretty much crate trained now as well.

These 2 are heading over to Long Cane Retrievers with Kaleb Davis soon to get a start on some training while we focus on our little man to be able to come home! We’ll have some updated pictures from them as they work with them since we can’t personally be there as we are staying close by.

Don’t miss out on these guys! we’re sure they’ll do exceptionally well. We’ll post updates when we can! Feel free to reach out but response times may vary depending on the time of day!

We are literally so thank for Kaleb @ LCR for taking the puppies during this time & also taking care of our baby boy Wader! He’s literally amazing, would refer him to any and everyone. It’s connections like these in the dog world that make a difference and make things so much easier even though we still stress about our dogs.

Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Earthdog, Fast Cat, CAT, Scentwork, Junior Showmanship, Trick Dog and CGC. Limited Registration helps breeders protect their breeding programs. If breeders do not want puppies used for breeding purposes, they can request the option for those puppies.

Full registration gives the new owner full breeding rights of the puppy. It also allows the dog to be entered in all AKC breed competitions. Dogs with full registration, their offspring are eligible to be AKC registered as well as long as both parents have full registration.

For us, limited registration is for pet homes only those who have no interest in doing the health testing required by our contract on that puppy to be able to produce litters, and also goes with a spay/neuter contract to be done and provide proof by no later than age 3. If you love your dog and want to have just 1 litter from it to keep one back, may we suggest just to go back to the same breeder and get another, breeding isn’t for everyone. Pet homes only will be less than those who want breeding rights.

With that being said full registration means breeding rights to that dog, to add to your program or possibly start your own up. Which also goes with a health testing contract to be done before the dog is eligible to produce offspring, all testing must be completed and passed- genetic, OFAs for all recommended tests (hips, elbows, eyes, hearts) which have their age requirements for official results. We’re not only protecting our program and name but our puppies, even when they go to new homes. We wouldn’t sell to those who aren’t going to put the same amount of time and effort (investment) that we do our dogs. Breeding rights is also more than a dog going to a “pet home only”.

Ammo is off to New York with his new mom! She made the trip right after summer school ended to come get her boy & he didn’t disappoint either. We kept telling him he had a long ride ahead and needed to be a good boy for his new mom. Thank you Victoria for choosing us & making the trip to come get one of our babies, I’m 100% sure you won’t regret him.

The Queen herself living her best life! We are so thankful for the families who keep us updated not only on our puppies that leave us but our retirees or ones who don’t make the cut for our breeding program- which are ALWAYS hard decisions. Now with a newborn/baby to think about we can’t have hundreds of dogs living inside because we personally can’t have some inside and some outside- they’re all equally spoiled and treated the same for the most part- some are a little more spoiled than others 🤣

Our sweet baby Banner left us today and it was very bittersweet. He adored and followed the kids around so it’s a match made perfect! Everyone will definitely be entertained. They drove from Oklahoma to Atlanta yesterday and then drove to work to pick him up before heading to NC where their house was just built! Glad we could make everything work out perfect. We can’t wait for the updates!

Slowly but surely everyone who has been claimed is leaving the nest.

Sparkler left with his parents today.

Star got a surprise as well from his new parents as they brought his new sister with them to meet & she sure was the sweetest thing.

Both are staying in SC. They did think it was a little hot today for pick ups but did very well
