Newest board and train foster from . JR, aka Donkey, was born into our care and is the last of his litter of 9 to be adopted.

He is absolutely sweet as pie and it won't take long for him to be ready for his forever home. I'm already smitten!

Ewok had an amazing adventure at the park last weekend. He met loads of new people and rolled over so everyone could pet his belly at the same time.

Ewok even followed the kids onto the playground! He is so brave and agile!

Ewok is social, sweet, active, and very smart. He did wonderfully on the long line and is doing great on his leash training. He is crate and house trained, and such a sweet, handsome boy!

All my fosters leave with training, but this guy is being fostered in order to train him! He's got a great personality and is a total love bug, as you can see!

He has heaps of energy and is more of a Tigger (bouncy flouncy fun fun fun) with all of his great leaps around the house as he plays with the puppies. He's enthusiastic, if a bit unruly.

During his stay, using reward based methods, he'll learn about impulse control, focus, and how to be brave!

Meet Esmé, a puppy I've been fostering since she was 4 weeks old. She's going through Puppy Culture™️ and as a result she is a stable, confident dog who loves people of all shapes and sizes.

She's a special pup and we're looking for the perfect family for her. (Cause I don't think they'll let me foster fail another dog! 😂 I want to keep her!!!)

Merida ('MARE'-ah-duh) was rescued on Read A Fairy Tale Day and is named after the Disney character in Brave. She has gorgeous reddish brown fur and the most majestic tail.

This young mama is just a puppy herself at just over a year old (estimated birthday is March 18, 2021). She wants you to know that she's not a regular mom, she's a cool mom!!! She's the sweetest mama to her pups and even now as they are approaching 3 months old she is engaged and watchful over them. She's constantly cuddling, grooming, and playing with her babes.

Merida is a friendly, cuddly girl who loves other dogs as well as people! She is gentle and sweet with both children as well as other puppies she has met. She loves snuggling up with her human and will give submissive "nibbles" to show her affection for you (iykyk).

Mer currently lives with a cat and is generally pretty good with him, but sometimes chasing him in the yard is SO FUN! Her foster mama tells her not to do it, and she tries really hard to listen. She doesn't want to hurt him, but running after him is a thrill. In the house she generally ignores him except for the occasional sniff. And he likes to instigate wrestling sessions with her, so who's to blame? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Merida will thrive in a home with another playful dog and a fenced in back yard to run and wrestle in! This girl is a companion dog and will be happiest when she is able to be with her people.

Been a while since since we've posted a group shot. Little Millie has been running with the big dogs this week. She's been learning how to be patient at the door and calm in the kennel. On top of that she's been killing me with cuteness!

From living between a toilet and a garbage can to snuggling up in the high end cat beds my cat won't use. Last week rescued 16 pups from freezing temperatures, including Cesa's two batches of babies: The Bishop Arts (babies) and Sunset Litters (teens).

rescued the Bishop Arts litter just in time to get them settled before today's storm. At 4 weeks old they would not have made it. Their mom is also safe and warm and taking great care of them.

The Bishop Arts Litter was rescued from the area and is named after our favorite shops and stops. See tags on photos to see who's who.

(Diva, the cream, was too much of a diva to stay on theme, and Chunky Hunky is named after Hunky's Burgers, who doesn't seem to have and Instagram.

Arrow thought he could run with the big dogs today. He stayed with Kansas for all of her explorations and this is how he's spent the rest of the evening. 💀

Arrow is progressing so nicely! He's taken a bit of a step back with me since I used some power tools yesterday, but he's recovering quickly. He knows sit, down, hello (shake), and is very close to mastering "stand."
•
Arrow is cat-tolerant and curious, but still has the urge to chase Azrael if he's moving quickly. It's a puppy thing, but we're working on it. Seeing Azrael be comfortable enough to join Arrow on the bed (there is another bed right next to him that's empty, so he make the choice to snuggle up) let's me know that he doesn't view Arrow as a threat, more of a nuisance.

Y'all. Juju FELL ASLEEP TODAY! This is HUGE for Juju and her mahm! This lil girl's separation anxiety has been off the charts since she was a shmall puppy and she wouldn't even sleep if her mahm was upstairs working. To see her little eyes drooping down and then finally watch her cave into sleep was EPIC. We've still got a ways to go, but today definitely gave us the morale boost we needed! !

Miss Luna is on training hiatus as she recovers from her spay. She's made great progress with her excitement-based reactivity and leash manners. Her mahm reported that she is now waiting patiently at the top of the stairs until cued to descend. Previously, she would drag her humans down the stairs, putting everyone in danger. I'm very proud of this sweet doodle girl!

Lab-o alert! Kobe has the same sweet face as my brother's pup, and the same impulse control problems! We got off to a great start with him last week by giving gentle boundaries and using a flirt pole to teach him "wait."

Working on separation anxiety with lil Juju here. SA is tackled in small bites so we had plenty of breaks today for our first session. Some breaks we cuddled, others we went outside, some we trained different behaviors, and this one time we had a little photo shoot. Cause who can resist this FACE!!!

Luna is a one of our Pandemic Puppies. She has a little bit of reactivity and a LOT of energy. Our first session she learned how rewarding it is to walk right by my side, how to check in with me, and spatial understanding when it comes to greetings. Here she is halfway through our session relaxing (!!!) while people walked by the room we were in. Great progress for a first session!
