By supporting my hens you help me keep them in feed i purchase from local small business owners.. who in turn get their grain from local farmers. It’s a win-win all around!!

Here it is the end of January… and my bees have been out and moving on this warm day!! I even had to rescue one from our house. I’m thrilled to see all of the movement and knowing at least one hive made it through this harsh winter!!! 🥶

Hope everyone is keeping warm!!! I sure am trying!!! Our water well house froze and busted the pipes. Also all of the pipes in our house our frozen, even the pipes wrapped with heat tape. Phil was at least able to repair the well house pipes and get one of our outdoor faucets to work and we have buckets full of water now.

Now that the holidays are over, and school has resumed for my 3 kids…. I had hoped the chaos would calm down. However Mother Nature and Murphy’s Law have other ideas. The military has my husband for the week and I am doing my best to keep all of our animals warm and fed… oh, and of course the kids too. 😉 I hope everyone else is staying warm and safe in this winter weather.

Dog pile on my middlest on their second snow day and AMI day this week. We are all so over the cold and freezing temperatures… and frozen water lines, and even frozen drain lines. 🥶🥶🙄
