We are a family breeding farm, we do not overbreed our girls. Bonnie started our journey and is 9 now and has only had 5 litters, and is now retired. Ebony is her daughter and will be taking over for Bonnie this year. Nutmeg is her chocolate daughter who will start breeding late fall 2018. Laddie has produced a number of great, healthy hunting dogs and family companions. We have English style labs. Our boy Tripp is registered for both UKC and AKC and comes from Dawson Labs out of Kansas City. He has been a great addition to our family. All puppies go through the “biostimulus training” and are potty trained to a dog door. When compared to an American type lab, the English type: Looks more substantial with a heavier look about them. Blockier and bigger built with barrel chests, they’re noticeably wider and more ‘solid’ looking. Has a wider head with a more pronounced and better defined stop, a fuller face and a shorter muzzle which further adds to their more solidly built appearance. Has a thicker, more powerful looking neck. Has a very noticeably thicker coat. Has a wider, thicker and generally straighter tail than their American cousins. Has shorter legs and hence don’t stand quite so tall. Has a shorter body. Bred for conformation they’re usually far closer to how the breed standard is written than the American type.
