Our little one has a forever home!š„° We are thrilled to announce that Heather's mom fell in love with her and has given her lots of attention, play time, and cuddles. Her name might become Molly Beth, but we aren't certain yet. Thank you to all for your support and donations!
Looking forward, if anyone out there is willing to foster the next little one to come through, please reach out to us. It would be amazing to have people at the ready for such an important part of the process. ā¤
Emmettās story: Emmett is a very healthy little boy we are happy to report! Dr. K was informed of a dying 6 week old stray kitten and she took Heather (and Heatherās girls) to take a look at him and see if there was anything she could do. Unfortunately, that sweet baby moved on from this world 5 minutes after we arrived to look at him. He was held by Heatherās daughter and told what a wonderful baby he was the whole time. We soon learned that there was another little boy in need of a home from the same litter. Heatherās other daughter scooped him in her arms and has barely let him go since! He is now 13 weeks old, spunky, silly, and so much fun! Now their family is 100% complete! š„°
Update!: If the little guy had not been brought in when he was, his chance of survival would have been non-existent. At 9 o'clock last night, our 2.5# furry friend was awake, moving, and VERY excited about eating! Dr. K stayed with him for a while longer and set up a camera to watch him and monitor him throughout the night. He started purring and wanting loved on, which was a very promising sign. To those who are not aware: we are using funds that are donated to care for him - we call it our Angel Fund. Whenever someone monetarily donates to us, we add it to our Angel Fund. We LOVE helping little guys like this and Dr. K only uses the fund to pay for some costs of care, i.e. flea treatment and dewormer. Donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated!
