The last few days have been beautiful at the Piggie sanctuary. With the beauty cames some sadness. LuLu and her room mate Smokey the cat were assisted across the 🌈 . LuLuwas 14 years old, from Animal Control in Palm Beach County, FL. She was surrendered by her owner along with her sister on Christmas Eve when she was 2 years old. She and her sister lived in the laundry room in a condo. Lucky they spent the rest of their lives at the piggie sanctuary, loved and safe. Smokey the cat slept with LuLu for the last 2 years. They rest together here on the farm for eternity. RIP my beautiful Angels.💔💔

Welcoming Butchie to the Piggie Sanctuary at Heavens Gate. He is 2 years old and an owner surrender. Butchie thinks he is all that. He has a private condo that he now shares with a room mate ( Walter). He spends the day outside with the boys to learn the “pecking order”. He definately is not “all that” with Mel Gibson who bosses him around.

Sometimes we just can’t post all good things. Today I found a tennis ball size tumor on Kevin Bacons throat. It doesn’t seem to bother him. He also has terrible arthritis and so he is living in the house to get daily meds. He remains happy and active and he will get the most love ever!

July 4th welcomes Bacon to the Piggie Sanctuary. A tearful goodbye but it was like she knew. Bacon loaded into the trailer and came off like a champ. No struggles no panic. Marched right into her stall. Welcome Bacon!!

Everyone is back where they belong except Kevin who thought the AC in the house was better. A beautiful day.

So nothing like coming down to the barn to see freedom is… Piggy Smalls out of the pig pen.

Piggy Smalls spent the afternoon out on grass and he came back to the big pig pen. He is officially integrated with the boys… and one girl🐷.

It’s Wednesday. Almost a week now since surgery. Piggy Smalls is in good spirits.

Piggy Smalls fist day after surgery. He appears to be feeling good. Dinner tonight all organic lettuce with tomatoes and dessert some cut up peaches! Bon Appetite

Piggy Smalls back home. Time now to recover from Surgery.

A rainy day brings Puddles and Walter together on the front porch.
