A little info about PBF Aussies...
We are located in Unicoi, TN in the small community of Limestone Cove. My love for Aussies began my senior year in high school. I wanted a blue merle pup and I went to purchase it from Miss Dottie Haun. The merles were all gone when I got there and she only had a red tri left. I brought her home, named her Leah and she was the best! Several years later, I was given a red merle pup named Cami. The kids loved her and she was so gentle with them. At 15, she passed away and my daughter swore she would get another Aussie in the future. Sure enough, Miss Kate soon became a member of our home and was our first black tri Aussie. Kate is our heart and she started the Aussie addiction. A year later, a friend of mine had Aussie pups and I FINALLY got the blue merle of my dreams. His name is Duke and he is awesome! When my youngest son married, his wife brought into our family a pretty red merle named Addy. She is full of energy and love! Finally a few months ago we obtained our red bi, named Carhartt, from a friend. He is our Velcro dog and fits in perfectly with our family.
Our love for the breed has prompted us to raise quality ASDR registered standard Australian Shepherds for your consideration---whether it be for a companion dog or a working dog. Our Aussies are low to medium drive. The pups are raised indoor around small children until 4 weeks of age. At four weeks old, they are placed outside in a puppy yard where they have access to go in and out as they please. They are around goats, chickens and horses as well as cats and other dogs. The puppies are well socialized, intelligent, healthy and loving. Their tails are docked and their rear dew claws are removed. They are wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age and they are immunized for parvo, distemper, adenovirus-2 and para influenza at 6 weeks of age. We feed them Purina Puppy Chow. At 8 weeks of age, they will be ready for pick up and will come with registration certificate, health record and full rights. Our prices range from five up to eight hundred depending on coat color and eye color. We do required a non-refundable two hundred dollar deposit when choosing a pup; however, that deposit does goes toward the purchase price and is not in addition to our adoption fee.
