The Tail's End 2025 Food Drive is complete! A BIG thank you to all of our clients who participated!!! With your help, we dropped off 1090 lbs of dry goods at the Clark County Food Bank yesterday. Our goal was to collect 1000 items. Our clients donated 1400 items in addition to 140 lbs of bagged dog food, for a total weigh in at 1090 lbs. In addition, we dropped off a cash donation and several clients donated independently through the donation link we shared with them. THANK YOU to all who were able to participate. It felt SO good to be doing GOOD in the NEIGHBORHOOD! Notice we didn't use the truck beds for transport lol - all the items were placed inside 3 vehicles to not mix any potential day job remnants with our donation. Just thought we would share that in case you had any concerns LOL

After Day 3....We've got canned cat food, dog food, dog wipes, dog treats, and LOTS of people food. Just 2 days to go and we are getting close to our goal of 1000 items. Let's hit this out of the park! I can't wait to show you the final "reveal" pic on donation day. We've got 2 1/2 days still to go on our FOOD DRIVE and so far we have collected 684 items and 85 lbs of dog food ( in two big bags). Who has the most generous clients EVER? The Tail's End does, that's who. We are likely going to smoke our goal of 1000 items. SO EXCITED to be doing some good.

Did you know that food insecurity affects nearly 25% of Clark County residents? We, like many of you, are concerned about our neighbors. The Tail's End is hosting a FOOD DRIVE this week to support the Clark County Food Bank. Our goal is to have 1000 cans/items. So far our clients have donated 338 items and a 45 lb bag of dog food! Aren't our clients fantastic?!

We are thankful for our AMAZING clients and staff who make this business what it is. Our Story

In 2010 just before Christmas, the company I had been working for was hit by the great recession of 2008. I had been an office manger for a very busy legal plan for roughly 5 ยฝ years. Unfortunately, like so many others at this time I found myself out of work. I never expected to still be looking for work nearly 2 ยฝ years later.

Through the course of searching for work, I reflected on how I had always dreamed of being self employed - master of my destiny. In between applying for jobs, interviews, and job hunting, I researched business opportunities, hoping I might satisfy my dream of being self-employed. So many businesses required significant investment of $10,000 - $250,000 or more!

As we struggled to make ends meet during this time, my oldest son (9 years old at the time) volunteered to go to some of the neighbors and offer to clean up their dog p**p to try and earn some money. Well, my wife and I โ€œpoo pooedโ€ the idea, thinking he would be lucky to make a couple of bucks off each yard. Several months later when searching for business ideas, I came across the business of pet waste removal! Suddenly the idea of cleaning up pet waste did not seem so silly. I could not believe this was a viable business. So after apologizing to my wiser than his years son, we set out to make our dream of owning a business happen.

Nothing happened overnight. It has been a long and slow process to get to where we are today. But, the hard work, the sweat and tears and long hours have paid off. We are proud to service all of south west Washington and in 2019 to open an office in Tyler, TX.
