👀🏠 Noble!
Thorn Hill Majestys Noble, “Noble” is a 14 year old Gypsy Vanner gelding. Has had 120 days professional training this year with us. Very athletic and smart! More go than woah, Noble likes to work and learn new things. He has the sweetest personality, great bone, hair, and conformation! Approx 14/14.1H (I haven’t sticked him). Please PM for more information or to come meet this handsome fella!
New rider Rian has about an hour or so of riding under her belt at the taking of this video!! Good job Rian and GoGo!!
I have said for years that training horses is in the details, that can sometimes go overlooked or rushed past. Today while working Ziva, we worked on….Just walking and staying relaxed on the far end of the lunge line, being in the present. Moving away from the anxious, “what’s coming next” thoughts and behavior, and just learning to breathe and be in the present. This also instills confidence and the ability to stay in her thinking brain where she can better receive information. As humans, we can also learn a lot from this…do you need to slow down and be in the present more? What feels helpful to accomplish this?
Teenager camp week is underway!!
Going to give some props (and probably embarrass) this girl! When Isabel started lessons with me about 6 years ago, 15 minutes was spent getting on the lesson horse and 15 minutes was spent dismounting due to her anxiety and nerves. Today, she saddled her own horse (who can have as much nervousness as her at times), mounted from the ground without assistance, and is out riding all on her own at our county fair. I don’t think she gives herself credit for the progress that she has made, so give her some kudos!!! Very proud of her! 👏🏻👏🏻
When I took this video yesterday, Carly had been on a horse for less than 30 minutes IN HER LIFE. Literally a few circles and she was trotting circles bareback! Pretty cool! Also kudos to the amazing Jenna for being such a good pony! Give them some love!!! ❤️👏🏻👍
The real GOAT! GoGo enjoying her much needed day off after horse showing all weekend! (Actually she would probably rather do a lesson today but just because she CAN, doesn’t mean she SHOULD!) Let that be a lesson to us all! #selfcarematters #ropethisranch #bsuwestern
