Last year's puppy class is all grown up now and they took their first spin on a full-sized jumps-only course during special holiday break private class time. Up until now, these youngsters had been doing only 7 or 8 obstacles. They rocked short sequences within this this course (modified AKC 2017 Invitational JWW course) and wanted to try putting it together. Here are two of the kids...Harriett with little Riley and Elisabeth with high flying Nike!
What a wonderful way to spend this cold winter. Sport K9 is so lucky to have the opportunity to work with all the fabulous teams in our classes at this incredible facility! Happy training in 2018 to all!
Wednesday, 12/20, Short Sequences class. Tally and Angela Kent. Just one step short on the ending long line. But, oh how far they've come. Check out the footwork.
Here's to you, Nico Brewster. You will be missed little feller.
Wednesday Handling Class fun--Mary Mazella's Hank, handled by Betsy Sachs. Love this little guy!
So happy for this team as they learn to work together. Pretty, calm-but-fast sequence at end of class--just one of several nice runs by Angela and Tally. It was a good day with everyone rocking the exercises!

Sherry Kluever Seminar at Sport K9 Fall 2016--what a difference a year makes! These youngsters are all grown up now and Sherry is back for our Fall 2017 seminar September 1 - 3. A couple spots may still be available--check for availability, [email protected].
I can't resist sharing this video of Pam Wasson and Bruino from our Wednesday night handling class. I am so happy for this team. They have come so far. I thought maybe I pushed things too much by setting up an only slightly modified version of the US World Team Tryout Round 2 Jumpers course; but both classes rocked it, including their first time seeing the wall jump. Wednesday night teams, you are awesome! And awfully good sports for letting me give you tough challenges. This course was HUGE!!! I should add, it is no easy task to keep an Akita locked in on an agility course for 90 seconds. Well done Pam. And look at that big unbendy boy weave!
Mary Stuart and Spencer practicing (2/14) for Sport K9's upcoming UKI trial in April.
Pam Wasson and Bruino running a UKI Champion Speedstakes course (2/14). Only one bar away from a nice clean run. Pam and Bruino are preparing to run at Sport K9's first UKI agility trial, April 8 and 9.
