Dachshund Idaho Rescue

We are a small but active dachshund rescue in western Idaho & eastern Oregon. We love the doxie breed, and would love to help you find one of your own.

Dachshund Idaho Rescue is the only 501(3)(c) non-profit rescue located in rural Payette County,Idaho and the only one serving southern Idaho, eastern Oregon, and northern Utah. We require an application, pre- and post-placement home visits, and a contract. All dogs who leave our rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date with their shots, and microchipped. On June 9, 2012 this rescue lost our home to

a devastating fire. We also lost 14 rescue dogs. Four dogs survived including two rescues, Jasmine and Herc. We are currently trying to get into a new home, and rebuild our lives. As for the future of the rescue, we are unsure right now. For anyone wanting to donate we have a Chip-In set up. Any help is appreciated.
